Anyway, thanks to a prosperous evening, last night, my pallette goes a little something like this:

Ortotore<->Baton
Dual Railguns
Lockgun<->Septara
Dual Beatguns
Crossbow Cubo Upinde <-> Septara
Baybari Bow

And a Sucker of dark element waiting in the wings.

The Baton is sort of a place-holder wand I got free while I'm preparing to cook a better wand in the oven. Actually, the wand I plan to replace it with is a Crozara, once it synths.

I keep the Sucker around so I can swap it into the pallette at any time, where I don't really need the 3 wand combination, and am left to do melee. It's also a just in case I find myself completely spent. It'll hold me until I can recharge.

The pallette is set precisely in that order as I find that it makes one of the most optimized for my fast-role changing kind of playstyle. Inter-weaving Wands with my utilitarian guns (Twins) tends to serve me well; as the combat roles, between the two, are ones I switch between the most.

Eventually, almost all the single-handed guns will become crossbows as all the limitations of the crossbows (range and no aim ability) are balanced by the other weapons I already have. Technically, I may decide to keep 1 high powered handgun as a backup and just stop with two crossbows. It's all about what you have left to hit flying enemies when you're getting to towards the end of your remaining PP.

Heh heh. I'm in the same boat, actually. I have exactly 1 A level weapon, the crossbow. I haven't been able to afford the rest while getting a better armor and getting my PM ready. I'm normally between 4-6 level weapons. I'm currently, at this time, trying to arrange materials, get some good synths going, and make the push to high profit. I still have a tiny bit of PM raising to push all my good synths to comfortable percentage levels.

yeah I hear you! I'm raising 2 other mags as well (Armor and Ranged), and getting mat'l for 7-9* weapons is just so daunting. I wish there was a moatoob mission that dropped Mot Ash more consistently. (to synth Mot Ebons).
