It's a very nice item. Grats on yours!

I went through 10 Yamata-senbas before one finally synthed and didn't break with 14% fire. I think this is reparations. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Too bad it is b rank armor. I made a 50% lightning armor but it was b rank too. So IF I ever get A rank unit say bye bye to lab/endrum remnants ownage for me. I really wish you could use any rank unit in any rank armor.

With my luck i'll never see a useful A-Rank unit for myself, so that isn't an issue to me. XD

Got a 38% Dark and a 34% Earth one just now when I checked them. Well, not bad, I guess. Got a 10% Dark, 22% Shock and a 20% Ice one too.

My armor generally sucks, right now; but I think it's pretty good considering the time invested in the character. I'm going to have to eventually sell it when I get my new armor. The one I have is missing an Arm slot, and I'll need that eventually.

Well, don't forget you're on the 360 where just having one set of armor is good. Different economies dictate different itmes. Since meseta is so easy to come by on the PC/PS2, synthing multiple armors to have one of each element is much easier to do.

Exactly. Because the meseta is there, nobody has an excuse to not have decent PM's and armor/weapons.

Well, the people who wanna play legit and pretend they don't have millions of meseta in reserve, but not many of them left. I, for one, gave up that philosophy ages ago.

In such a fast paced life like mine it does!

Hell, I forgot what I had for breakfast an hour ago. I forgot how I got this glass of tea... my bane is my faulty memory. Forgot a number of things i've done with friends that they seemed to love. Make me wanna just shoot myself sometimes. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

If you've got friends it's still not bad. My little team and I pretty much don't participate in the economy (except to occasionally buy mats when they're at sub-vendor prices), and we've still managed to fill out three PMs, with a fourth almost done.

Resource pooling helps a lot. Doing certain things by yourself can get rough.

We've been making Ageha-senbas for various elements...it's got good stats for a four star and is relatively pretty chep to produce. Sell the ones you don't want for around cost, and you'll have a few functional suits in no time.

I don't think I'd even be playing right now if I weren't still trying to go legit. I mean, I'm almost at cap, and if material drops and meseta lost any meaning, well, I'd be done until the next update.

Yes, if you have friends your gear is irrelevant. I do alot of PuG's and I like to flaunt my superiority to all the gimped Forte classes. I mean seriously, that C-Rank weapon was good at level 10, but not at level 60. I don't care if it's +5 and is 50%.

The high % makes the damage from dark mobs lower than usual. It also is wonderful for the various dark spells in the game that aren't affected by defense.

Take Megid for example. Buffed Jarbas in Mad Beasts S do 1,000+ per Megid cast. You usually die from damage before the incapacitation effect goes off. This way, you'll take like 500 and finally be at the mercy of the incapacitation effect! :3

congrats Sei http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I'm not sure how I managed before... (mass-producing + reselling ageha-senbas hoping for a high% actually make a profit, tip for the 360ers!), but yeah having a 44-50% for all 6 elements is way overpowered http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

I don't have the kahonas to waste 25 Nanoresins on an armor I'd likely land a 10% on.

Store-bought Teroline FTW!

Feb 14, 2007, 06:34 PM
I recently synthed a 14% light Rapier, and it does about as much damage as that 44% +4 Pallasch I have. Weapon wise, yeah, lower star equipment is passable but not exactly really that great anymore. Armor wise, I find a good 44 or 50% cuts a ton of damage that high end armors don't seem to match.

im going to try for my own midilines for my human. I just wish i could screen cap my synths =/

This is the only drawback to playing on PS2. Aside from that I'm taking a bit of a small break from PSU to level and accumulate my BLU AF on FFXI ^_^. Waiting for the banhammer to come down on the next update to get back into the game =)
