Where to find Metaresin?

I'm in need of some Metaresin to synthesize an armor, but I've never found Metaresin. Where can I farm for Metaresin? Thanks.

I believe I've found Metaresin on both VoC and Mine Defense S rank missions in the boss boxes at the end. I would assume that it can be found elsewhere on Moatoob, but I can only recall seeing it in the aforementioned missons.

Now, Ortaresin is the big mystery. I have only ever seen this in an Aganna box. Once. Does that drop elsewhere?

You didn't even check this, did you? As is the case with most of the items in the database, there are NO drop locations listed for this item.

I have found the database to be only somewhat informative when it comes to items. I think too much is allowed to be posted there. I mean, some things listed have no description or stats or anything...just a name and a star rating. Scripted items are described in there as well.

No problem! As for Ortaresin, that is the only place I have ever seen it. And there is only one box out of all the boss boxes that it can be. And it's usually an Ortasilica!!

That is why I bought my Sori-Senba instead of attempting a synth with the board....

I agree with you on that. Before I even posted the question about Metaresin, I looked through the item database, but to no avail was it helpful as to where it drops.

Well, he asked where to find it. He didn't mention if he wanted drop locations or if it could be found in a store. He just said he'd never found it, so I figured I'd save him the trouble of trying to find drops when he could just buy the bloody things. Sorry to have offended your sensibilities.

He definitely asked where to find Metaresin. Maybe after you're done reading your links you can read the first post in the topic.

EDIT: And if he's on the 360, it's not as simple as buying everything from the NPC (because when it comes to rare synthesis materials many people price things idiotically). We need to work for things over here, and 75% of the time if you're looking for something uncommon, like a Meta/Orta/Nanoresin, it's a better idea to farm them.

If it were indeed your intention, wouldn't it have been MUCH easier for you to simply post "Buy them from the Synth shop" then it was to post all those links to try and make the OP feel stupid??

Generally, when someone asks where they can farm something, it implies they have no intention of buying said item.

I was going to farm for the ortaresin I needed for my Hiragi-Senba, but I just broke down and bought 35 from the NPC (yes I know 7.5k * 35=why can't this be easier to farm). I think Bruce A runs might be a better fit here rather then farming for it in the long run, but that is just my thought.
