The Love Bow (56k Warning)

After the very many topics I've seen about the community needing to get a love bow before the event ends, a random stranger who joined my party had one.

I asked how he/she got it, and of course: "A friend got it for me", but I managed to get Stat/Description/Action screens.

Why would a friend give something like that to another friend, unless there lending it to them. I would lend it to a friend if I truelly knew I could trust them, other than that no way would I give it away out of generosity. A friend of hers could've found it and thought it was, for lack of a better term, "gay", and so could've passed it off to her both because it threatened his masculinity and also he probably liked the girl and gave it to her.

"A friend gave it to me" doesn't always mean a hack. I wish people wouldn't jump to judgment so quickly. I know this sounds hypocritical because my friend traded me a Carriguine-Rucar and it ended up hacked, but I still don't think you should suddenly say you can guarantee it's HACKED.

Anyways, it's a nice weapon. I'd like one someday. Very pretty.

See, what we need to see is not some of this Love Bow in action but some Love Bow board getting dropped. Then all the 'omg must be legit' people can shut up, the rare hunters can go a-huntin, and the lucky few who have had them gifted will be able to think/know thiers is legit. Everybody's happy!

Personally, i think the likelyhood of someone on our end getting the bow is low, what with having to do De Ragan S-runs, (even that was half-way confirmed) Get the board get it to someone who will synth it, deal with the low chance of success.

Those are alot of, well, negetives. But hey i've seen weirder things.

If the bow is hacked (If ST chooses) They'll find out. If it isn't, then it isn't.

It's kinda hard not to judge, but we really shouldn't.

Simply put, I had two of these bows. Two. Hackers are putting them out there because people think they're legit. Just like the Carriguine, the idea is to distribute "legit" weapons, or at least weapons though to be legit. So yeah, I'm saying it isn't legit. Granted I did give one of the bows to some random guy, and I dropped the other one and abandoned the mission. NOTE: I gave it to a guy, it's a female only bow, no reason to keep it.

I know who the friend is, so I know it's legit. She also had an entire posse hunting De Ragnus until it dropped. I think they had some out on Mad Beasts S too, but i'm not sure. Mel listed her as a friend, and so shall I.

Well I've never spoken to her myself, but I've seen her around and seen who she hangs with. She's just one of those people who get things. You know those people who win contests, the lottery, get the rarest of rare items. I've always wanted to be one of those people, and she is. I really hate those people.

"A friend gaved it to me" is short and to the point. Regardless if you spent a whole lot of time explaining the circumstances as to why you received said gift people most like would have passed judgement already. So... damned if you, damned if you dont.

Personally, I wouldnt flash that thing out to anyone if I had it. I would wait for it to be a bit more "common" (again going by the chance that it has being officially declared as released).

At the official boards someone posted a vid of a 360 player doing a shop search and this item appearing. The shop was locked so you can't tell if it is the made weapon or board. This is enough proof to make me believe it could have been a legit drop on US servers.
