I think I was the last person to walk in Uni 5, everyone suddenly stopped moving and talking and I walked around the awkwardly silent lobby for about 20 minutes then got the disconnect message. When I logged back in the universe was gone.

It wasn't random, it was due entirely to the absolutely MASSIVE flow of people into Uni 5 once the GMs announced they were there.

That is Palmalatin, the ancient language of planet Palma. It is a language from the old Phantasy Star games. Falz isn't a mistranslation. There is also a more complex Dezolian language that is spoken on planet Dezolis.

I don't know about you guys, but I was pretty pissed off how they did certain things.

One of the messages made you unable to do ANY ACTIONS at all...and I was in a mission. We lost an S because I couldn't heal, and no one could get to their palette. I understand they don't want people talking, but geez, find a better way, I wasn't even on that friggin universe.

This particular GM event was a really bad/stupid/lame idea in my opinion.

Meh, I'm sure the Universe will be back up sooner or later, it's not like it was all that important. No one ever really played on Uni 5. It just find it funny that GM's continued to that nonsense even after having the two universes crash.

I got up this morning too early only to find out that Universe 5 had fallen into oblivion. Today we shall hold a solumn ceremony for a Universe which has served it's purpose and must now be layed to rest, like it's PC/PS2 bretheren were before.

Omega, was that the same kitty that was at that Wedding rehersal on uni09 last night when you were with Maylee and Ryogen? i didn't notice uni05 died since i was with Zonza and legendaryKalib sorta laughing at this 'wedding' preparation that apparently is no more. The only other time i saw a universe implode was on Valentines Day. Damn those msgs that popped up from the GM... couldn't cast or heal during an Onmagoug battle.

It crashed during the Valentine's GM event.

Ah just like universe 4. They should have had GM's on multiple servers unless there was only one. Seeeegggaaaa

I never went back to those servers during that event after my first attempt, instead i went to the photo/video shoot hosted by MDE(not -nMe-) on Universe 29. I prefer player events since there isn't much worry about universes imploding and odd ball 'weddings'.

Universe 5 is back because I found my Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion disc. I logged into Oblivion and retrieved Universe 5 from its depths. I also killed a countless amount of Daedra in the process.

not really, we only lost one universe due to overload. PC/PS2 universes drop like flies due to hacker attacks.
