I have saved up 300,000 meseta and would like to get some opinions on what to do with it. My character is level 40, fortetecher level 2. I have 1 Mayrod, 4 grinded Tomoirods, Top B line wand (grinded), 95% of the PAs, a middle row Bow and the Ageha-Senba armour (Mega/Power, HP restore and Me/concentrate).

Different armour/attachments, more wands/rods, what??? This is my first FT character, my first character is a FF. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What platform?
If Xbox 360 give it to me!

Seriously, I would suggest that you get some armor probably? If you haven't raised a PM that may be useful to do. I'm not too great with force type characters but as long as you have the Tomoirods grinded you should be good with them. Perhaps you should attempt to get a few +10 Tomoirods, as they should be better than A and S rods ungrinding I would think.

It is for the Xbox 360. Sorry for the stupid post, I am new to the game though and wanted to know some opinions.

Well then, I would suggest on one of the following.

Defense: New Armor
Attack: Higher Grinded Tomiorods
Synth: Raising PM

You could invest in a PM to synth for future profits. For profit I would suggest any PM other than striking, but armor may be hard since most of the desirable items cost a bit to make and have low sucess rates.

It's not a stupid post. Polling for opinions is fun.

As a fortecher, upgrading your armor is probably best.

If you decide to upgrade your armor, keep in mind what you are going to be doing.

For example if you do Bruce alot and you have trouble with the vears, look for ground type armor. You may not want to get an Ice based armor for Bruce however! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I say go for a synthing PM. If you have that much money, you can easily max out at least one of the three that require money (...You can cannibalize CAST parts to make an Armor PM for free...).

Could you explain this to me a little more? If armour has an element on it, does it protect you from that element or make you more prone to that element?

If you have Fire on your armor....you get defensive bonuses against Fire...but you take more damage from Ice....

Armor is strong the element it is, but weak to the opposite element.

Ground armor is strong against ground monsters.
Ground armor is weak against lightning monsters.

Lightning armor is strong against lightning monsters.
Lightning armor is weak against ground monsters.

And so forth...

List of opposites
Fire-Ice
Ground-Lightning
Light-Dark

It protects you from that element, but makes you more prone to the opposite

For example, 10% Fire Armor will reduce all damage from Fire type enemies by 10%, but ice type enemies will do10% more damage

If you're going to do armor, go to the Guardians Colony shop, and browse. The B rank stuff has some nice resists, and then you can add a Mega/Rainbow for what is effectively 30+%.

What is the mega / rainbow? Is it better to get than the mega wall?

Eliash
Feb 16, 2007, 04:08 PM
Mega Rainbow adds +8% to the element of your armor. A said 18% ground element would now act like a 26% ground element armor.

Mega/Rainbow is only worth it if you already have an armor with a decent elemental charge you want to boost....otherwise, go for Mega/Wall.

I'll tell you what I'd do.

I'd take 200,000 of that and finish my Tech PM, then I'd take the remaining 100,000 meseta and save it up until I had enough to purchase myself a [B] Howrod or [B] Majimra. I use my wands more than rod, so I'd probably go with the Majimra board.

Meh, if I were you, I'd buy myself some new armor, purchase any essential tehcniques you don't already have, or something..

I believe it says 10%...

Either way, theres some really good elemental %s in NPC.

The prices are a bit lower for certain things on 360, but Howrods are expensive.

They go for roughly 250k I think.

find some really good a weapons for a good price... or save for the 'next update'... or spent it on a new character...

yea howrods are 250k, wouldnt suggest that yet, oh and your Q's arent dumb i was asking most of the same. Armor is good but where do you battle? that influeneces everything but its always good to have fire armor. Since you arent going to be in the heat of battle though maybe another good rod/wand or like other people said raise a PM.

Answer these Qs first
-where do you fight most
-what area to you feel you need to improve in
-do you plan on synthing? and if so what would you synth?
-do you get hit or die on S runs a lot?

I would save it big time. Once you beat Chapter 11 in story mode, the option to buy S-rank weapons in free mode becomes available once you reacha certain level with your character. These weapons go for usually a minimum of 500,000 meseta.

Depending on your character, I'd save up for the s-rank wand or rod, both are made by yohmei.

Bruce runs for cash?

Dunno, I'm on PS2/PC, and with the obscene prices of stuff...

Well, hopefully the economy drains from people buying lots of clothes or something.

This is my second character. i have a 100 striking PM with my first character and therfore have made my meseta through him.
Thanks for all the help guys and gals, I purchases the Te-Senba armour and another Mayrod. I wish more people would synth Te-Senba armour, I couldn't find any with elements on it besides what you get from the store (27 light). Now I need a Dark armour to feel safe in the Hive!!! Is there that much difference in the Te and Hoza armour???
