Charaters online with diffrent gamecube.

Can i use charaters i created on my gamecube and play online on another gamecube? Im pretty sure you could not do this with the DC version.

I have called Sega on this matter, largely because a friend of mine is going to buy another GameCube later in the year. They are presently playing PSO on a friend's Cube, but will be purchasing their own.

Sega said, theoretically, that there should be no problem using a character created on one GC on another GC altogether. Your character is tied to your serial and access numbers, but -- unlike how it was on the Dreamcast -- it is not tied to the system itself. You will not have to worry about GC internal serial number conflicts.

Now, why did I say theoretically? Because the Sega representative I spoke with said there should not be any problems. However, I could not get a 100% solid "Yes" out of her. I found that odd. Still, I doubt she would say it is possible at all if it were not.

You may want to call them to double-check, but this is the answer I received to the same question. You can get their number by calling 1-800-USA-SEGA and waiting for the customer service number to be announced. It begins with 1-512, but I do not remember the rest.

I thought you could...I even thought you could take 2 different people ONLINE at the same time....maybe I was thinking wrong...
