Geez is 360 really that much better than PS2/PC?

All i hear is PC/PS2 being trashed by 360. If it's really that bad, I'm thinking of going there even though I'll miss out on playing with my irl friends :/ What exactly makes it better?

Are we reading the same forum? Yes, there are plenty of annoying "YAY 360!!" comments from the fanboys, but all the trashing I read comes from people on the PC side.

That aside, go with PC/PS2. The differences aren't so great that it's worth leaving friends behind. No friends will make this game get very boring, very fast.

Jusat was curious, someone had a comment about Double Crea being found and said if was on PC/PS2 just another head in the crowd, if XB360 congrats... Just rubbed me the wrong way a lil

How does the community compare between the 360 and PS2 versions?

On the BB fourms someone said the PS2/PC version ranges from 2-4 stars on universe 1. They didn't say how many were on the 360 version but they did say it was gaining people while the PS2 version is losing people. If that's true Im betting it's because of the demo. On there it's not uncommon for people to start spilling over into the 4th universe.

But yea the only difference is the hacked stuff, i don' have a problem with PS2 or PC but i did play PSO with hacks and im playing PSU on 360 without them,and honestly if this game got hacked and money was everywhere and weapons were so common i would quit or cut my gametime extremely. Can't explain it but it feels good to work for something good then actually seperate yourself from others.

Not sure of population on other platforms but 360s is decent, during day usually 2-3 unis full, at night it uually slows down to 4 star on uni 1

hardly any unreleased items left on pc/ps2 servers. most people have dumped them fearing the ban stick. economy slowly returning to a not so insane level too.

Wow... I dont see how anyone could pefer PS2/PC over 360 based on what I'm reading.

If it really does have that many more people, and doesnt have the same level of duping / hacks, then it's no contest. Plus there is the fact you get the voice chat and friend system from xbox live. I can't help but assume that anyone who votes for the PS2/PC version is because that's what they own, or it's all they can afford.

At first I thought the 360 version was going to be the "other" platform to play on. But now it seems like it's the way to go.

The 360 version has at minimum, the entire first universe full at it's low point and the first 3-4 universes full at it's peak with a few 1 stars scattered down the list randomly. Usually 16 gets 1-2 stars since JP play there, 13 as well, 30 etc.

Well, I'm on the ps2 and if I were to recommend which platform to play on, I'd still say that PC/ps2 is a bit more beginner-friendly, given that the amount of meseta floating around the game is so high.
Before I went on a temp. retirement (2 months ago) I had bought myself an axe for 90,000 (which took me AGES to gather) and was then struggling to raise the PM, update the armor and getting other weapons.
It was impossible. I think that was a contributing factor as to why I lost my will to play PSU back then. The stress of getting meseta.
Anyway, I re-started 3 days ago and managed to sell a bunch of photons for 270,000 and have bought myself lots of new items and stuff, and PSU is way more fun now when meseta isn't so rediculously hard to come by.

There are a handful of 360 players where I wouldn't be above popping some popcorn and watching them get their come-uppance. It's aggrivating enough having to deal with the pc/ps2 hacks without some bellowing fanboy constantly bringing it up in an effort to affirm their taste in hardware.

That said, most players on both servers are decent enough that I do fall a bit short of actually rooting for 360 to be hacked.
