View Full Version : Does anyone know how JP PSU is doing?

Did they get the same problems with cheating that we got? How strong it their community?

I know on PSO GC there were always 5-10x as many people playing on the JP servers comapred to the US ones. Also do they even have JP servers for PSU 360? I mean there are exactly 7 people in Japan with 360s, so it seems like they would only get a handful of people.

All I know is there is hacking but not widespread.Nobody wants to ruin the game like ---- on our side.
Also they are doing pretty good from what I hear.

The 360 servers are universal, we play with the Japanese.

On the Japanese PC/PS2 there is some cheating, but for the most part people aren't really throwing around unreleased weapons and stuff like that because their games contain a serial key which gets banned. Recently they patched the Japanese servers to prevent some of the client side cheating and updated game guard as well.

The PC/PS2 servers here should see the security patches in a bit, at least to current speculation.

The PC/PS2 Servers are getting there reguar maintenance/updates then, thats when they're implementing the illegit item/weapon wipe. Its on the sega psu site.

Apparantly there's a little cheating here in Jpland, but none that I've ever noticed. There were reports of some S-ranks popping up but the ban hammer knocked them down pretty hard. The cost of goods seems to be identical with the hack-free xbox version.

If you can handle Japanese and have a pc to run it, its the place to be.
