Official PSU artbook coming soon!

Shougai PSO (http://www.g-heaven.net/pso/topics/070219c.html) is reporting that Enterbrain, the publisher of Famitsu Magazine, will be releasing Phantasy Star Universe: Official Illustration Collection next month. It will go on sale for 2,310 yen. The exact date of sale is currently undecided.

Recently I read something about a new Japanese PSU book coming out (not the Perfect Bible). Does anyone know anything about this or have links/information about such a book? I know an online store that might be able to get a few (the same shop also got me a PSU T-shirt, the one that Sega Direct sells).

I'll have to see if I can dig it up, but I posted something on this book last month (or somewhere around then). It was scheduled to come out sometime in March, but at the time a definite date had not been set. I haven't heard anything new on it since, so I'm not sure if it's been delayed or not. As for what it is, this will be an art book. No details on how large it will be, though.

EDIT: Found it. Here (http://www.pso-world.com/viewtopic.php?topic=135660&forum=20) is my original post. I checked the links in it again, and the book is still listed on Enterbrain's site as coming out this month. However, its title is still "pending," so I'm pretty sure it will be pushed back a bit. I'm hoping this collection contains a lot of concept art we haven't seen yet. I'd love to see some of the ideas that SonicTeam weren't able to put in PSU. You know, it's possible they might even include some teasers of things to come in Ambition of Illuminus. That would be pretty sweet.

I ordered the Hunter's book but the online shop (Toys N Joys) never sent it, and said they were restocking (it's been over a month...).

It turns out I was right... it did get pushed back. But not by too much. Now this book, carrying the new title of Phantasy Star Universe Data Collection (http://www.enterbrain.co.jp/jp/p_catalog/book/2007/978-4-7577-3567-5.html), is set to come out on April 28, 2007. The price has increased to 3,150 yen, however the reason being that this collection has expanded. Instead of just being a PSU art collection, it will also feature unreleased artwork from PSO ep.III and Ep.IV Blue Burst! For those looking to order, here's the book's ISBN: 978-4-7577-3567-5.

They should have it added to their site once it gets a bit closer to the release date. I'll keep my eyes peeled for it, as this is where I'll be ordering my copy from.

Can anyone who has the first book or is about to get this one confirm if Akikazo Mizuno is involved in PSU at all? He was the official illustrator for PSO and did some great stuff.

I'm just wondering what's happened to him lately? He seems to have vanished.
