From what I understand it no, but they do have a agito which is photon base. But I would not count it out though. I hope sega does bring back the non-photon base weapons so I can kick some ass with them.

The common Yohmei sabers are shaped as katanas. The A rank swords are thick katanas. The rarest sword is shaped like a thin long katana, such as PSO's T J sword or Sephiroth's Masamune, but with a photon blade. So there are Katanas, but they're used like other weapons.

That makes me think, the final sword PA is supposed to smash the sword against the ground. That looks like a bad idea with the Agito, since the blade is so thin...

I'm not sure whether they will add more weapons to the game in terms of animation such as a katana being swung like a katana.

I have Ryo-cresabra. They look like twin Katanas. Thats the closest you can get at the moment.

PSU has quite a selection of rares. The max star PSO has for an item is 12, PSU has up to 15.

But how many of what Star items are there?

As we've seen with A-ranks. There are well, one 8* items per weapon per planet.

Sometimes not even that, Parum has one 8* saber. Neudaiz and Mot don't (excluding the crea-series)

what's the stop us from having one of each Star item? Ex: one 12* twin, that's it, period.

I agree w/ Ryo, up to A rank, there are only like 1 weapon for each star, and only one planet makes weapon for each rare. Like [twin] sabers, double sabers, swords, [twin] handguns, machine guns, rifles, and laser cannons are Parum only, [twin] claws, [twin] daggers, rods, wands, longbows, and cards are Neudaiz only, and spears, axes, fists, crossbows, grenade launchers, adn shotguns are Moatoob only. IMO that sux adn I think that ALL 3 of the planets should make rares for each of the weapon types, that would make things more interesting.

If weapons do go up to 15 and are considered S I am going to start rethinking my standing on classes using A weapons....A 3 star difference won't really break your character but a 6 star difference is crazy In my opinion.
