Why are tears of light so expensive? Sure, they give your PM 20+ strike and 5+ technic, but they are not worth more than 1000. The effort needed to obtain these is not worth more. So why place tears of light in your shop for 5000!? Crazy Xbox 360 people...

It's the number of stars, drives the price to loco amounts.

People think just because it has 7* stars, it has to cost alot. Have you noticed how people sell Vucaline for more than NPC price? The reason items cost more is:

A)The seller is an idiot.

B)Someone actually pays for that ridiculously priced item.

C)They have no clue on the market value

D)Is an idiot

E)People think that feeding it to pm before synthesising will increase the percent if synthing a Light elemented weapon.

F)Needs to be kicked by Chuck Norris

Just look for the board in Grove of Fanaatics C, usually in the locked room between the two teleporters before the boss. All you need is a trans acid and a Pannon Jelly.

It really is a nice piece of PM food with a meager requirement for synthing, but that's it.

What is Tear of Light used for, anyways?

As it was stated, it's a food item, with a high number of stars. Makes great Partner Machine food (if you're looking to raise striking, anyway) because of that.

I usually sell the ones I synthesize for 700 to 1000 meseta myself, and they go really fast.

A really weak healing item. Ate one for kicks. Only gave me like 25 hp. >.<

Sorta like the Gourmet Cake Board: Who knows what it's for?
We don't even have the item required to make it.

The difference is you can actually make Tears of Light. I believe it requires a Pannon Jelly along with some berry. We should be getting "Something Sweet" as a drop sometime in March, I believe.

Yeah, I sell them for about 350 in my shop, just a little over Moon atomizer Xs. I'm wondering if I'm gonna be the one to ruin everyone else's market on this item. I checked every store with these and the least amount I saw it for was 1000. I laughed in someone's face when I checked their shop and saw it being sold for over 10,000.
I don't sponsor poverty!

That remindes me of that mission you had to do in the old PSO. You had to look for "sommething sweet" for this cake loving lady..=

IN THE CAVE!! I mean, who the freak has a bake shop in the caves where monsters live?

All tears of Light, as stated before, is 1x Pannon Jelly and 1x Trans Acid

The best is any synth item you can buy from NPC being sold for over their price in player shops; then telling the guy who owns the shop that he/she is an idiot, leave and buy it from NPC even if the player sells for the same price as NPC.

I just remembered when I was looking for a Sori-Senba...the least amount I could find it for in a user shop was 400,000!!
I just never shop at people's shops anymore. Seems like all user shops suck except for mine and my bro's (no not all suck, but most do). Simply, most people SHOULDN'T have shops.
