Will megid kill a boss in a single blow?

Well, first off, megid doesn't kill 100% of the time, but even so, I don't think the effect would work on bosses. It's like in PSO, same deal. I assume at least, cause if not that's pretty broken >.>

Bosses with "cutscenes" are immune to all status effects.

It's highly doubtful. I think someone mentioned that a lot of monsters have high resistance against the spell anyway, so bosses should be even harder to insta-kill if not impossible.

All large-size mobs+ are immune to instant death. Bosses are pretty much immune to everything.

Each monster size is effected by a different level of techs. small and medium will be effected at lv 1-3 whereas the large (non-boss) will be effected only at lv 4 effect.

It's not a matter of SE4. It's just that afaik, large-size mobs, minibosses, and bosses are just flat-out immune. (kinda like how tankbots and stateria are totally immune to burn, it's just a thing)

I call bullshit on that! I used to solo De Ragan S all the time, picking him off using ice grenades almost exclusively. Took the bullet art to level 28 or so bombing his ass into the ground and he's never been frozen once, period.

Maybe in Story/Extra mode.

Unfortunately, that chart is for Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst. We're talking about Phantasy Star Universe here.

No. Bosses are classified as immune to Status effects. That's all status effects including the Megid death (which counts as one). If they do die from the Status Effect, they aren't a real boss. That is, they had no special intro for them.

all i hear was "ITS LIKE A HUMONGUS ICE CRYSTAL!!"

this was reported long before Dam-spells were out.

claimed to be from a lone Ranger used a lvl 4 status effect.

I think that maybe megid/killer shot might kill some big enemies like svaultus, polovohra, bil de vear, etc...

Ive seen people freeze Svaltus before, not sure if it was a spell/bullet though :<

Yes, it kills bosses. I should know, it's killed me dozens of times. As durable as I am, it takes an entire alliance with heavy use of mages and healers to take me down. Megid just one-shots me.

It's cheap, but we need a system in place to defeat the more durable bosses and get snazzy titles...

Svaltoi are "mini-bosses", in the same category as SEED-Vance/Vitaces. They're larger than "large bodies" so no proc there either.

And I dunno, maybe it's different offline. You can burn Carriguine offline, good luck doing that online.
