I just got the wireless receiver for windows to use X360 pads for my PC.
What is the best way to configure it so that the controls are like the X360 version?

b-cancel(use left trigger/bumpers to cycle items and right trigger/bumper to cycle weapon palette while holding B)
left bumper-strafe/cammera reset
right bumper-weapon/tech swap

Didn't know that, just stating the 360 control setup since he was asking about the setup and i play on 360. The funny thing is that I forget what the right trigger is used for.

The Left and Right triggers register as another Analogue control, on the PC. However, in some cases, it's better to use the D-pad in place for the Triggers. PSU probably wont be able to set analogue +/- triggers to buttons like programs like MAME could.

not sure if it will work with the wireless pad but use XBCD drivers instead of the official microsoft drivers, it lets u map the triggers as 2 extra button, it also surports rumble.

Yeah, pretty much the official drivers for the Xbox360 controller sucks, and I hardly ever use that word to describe things.

I highly suggest using XBCD drivers as suggested above. They have a variety of options to config and nifty functions to play to the way you like.

Be sure to read through FAQ etc. and also, wireless controllers do not work at all for PC.

This really is the way to go. Xbox 360 controller has got to be the nicest game controller I've ever used on a PC, and with the above driver, it is balls-on, exactly what you need.

I suggest starting with the same configuration used on the Xbox 360 (http://www.pso-world.com/images/psu/news/10-06-06/psu360controller.jpg), and adjusting it as desired from there.
