Extra Mode clothing won't change.

While in Extra Mode, I bought new clothes but they won't change. I have tried going to my room to change with no luck. I even removed all clothes, and I'm still wearing the same thing. The clothing will change while in the dressing room, but when I step out it loads the old clothes. My inventory is correct and shows whatever clothing is equipped, but the character still shows the old clothing.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is this due to the recent patch?
