Okay, so after looking around for B rank grinders +10, I found the average price in player shops to be about 1 million per grinder (found a few for 100k and as high as 4 million each). Now I am on the PC/PS2 servers, so I took into account inflation, but I knew grinders +10 couldn't be that rare.
So that is where this little test came into play. Now this is a relatively small sample of only 2,000 B rank grinders, but I assume that is close enough to make assumptions. I spent 1,000,000 (500 per, for 2,000) on bases and and 400,000 (1,000 per, for 400) on boards buying from the shop for a total of 1,400,000 dollars.
I made grinders 5 at a time for the most part (max board synth), and 200 per "round" as I called them. Everything below +6 I am not showing, and I refer to them as "junk grinders." Anything with an odd number is due to me not paying attention, and doing a max synth with an odd number of bases in storage. I am showing from +6 up, but for reference +2 grinders were the most common made with about 600 total (30%).
B+10 - 20
B+9 - 41
B+8 - 165
B+7 - 145
B+6 - 265
So as you can see from the numbers, +6 and above grinders only account for 31.8% of the total synths done. With +10 grinders being a mere 1%.
I will keep running tests... but it seems to be that grinders +10 are a straight 1% chance.
