I'm getting so pissed at the number of noobs that insist that they have to be fighgunners...its pushing me over the edge...im a fighgunner for many reasons, but at least i have a reason...all those noobs are making us(the good fighgunners) look stupid...we are getting a bad name and im pissed...a ton of people think that becuz im a fighgunner that i dont know what to do when partying S ranks...i have gotten booted on many occasions for this... anybody agree with me??

Yeah because everyone and their grandmother wants the double saber, quiet down.. perhaps you didn't know what to do in the S-rank party

I went Figunner for the A and S rank twin sabers, twin daggers, and the dbl sabers. Not just for "teh 733t dbl Sb3rZ!!!"

I *do* use traps and crossbows btw;
however, due to my main characters' very concept (for RP/future FanFic) he does not like guns (like Batman and for similar reasons).

If there was a better Expert Class that would excel at being a quick and agile samurai/quasi-ninja type of warrior i'd pick it.

Though I think it's pretty elitist and tactless to demand or expect everyone to play a certain class a certain way.

What matters is that the player learns to, and then uses skills and focus,
becoming good with the class they have.
IMO it's not imperetive to use duel hand guns or single handguns, if the player become damn good with melee tatics, quick hit & avoid tactics, using traps and melee tactics in effective ways that unleash severe hinderance and *damage* to an enemy, and learns to hinder and trip-up mobs. THAT's what matters.

Not wether a Fighgunner use a frakkin gun or not.... -_-;

I personally dont give a flying f*ck for guns in PSU, IMO they are boring and mostly uninteresting.
Now *if* there were dual handgun PA's that looked like "Gun-Kata" from the movie "Equilibrium" then I'd actually consider using dual guns on my alternate character...

If you ask me Fighgunners are dumb anyway the only reason people play as them is so they can use DOUBLE SABERS which should have been a fortefighter weapon in the first place.

P.S- I dont boot fighgunners out of my party

I'm a fighgunner because my favorite weapons are double sabers and twin handguns. Fortefighters can't use either, so they're not an option. Besides, who cares about axes? I hate slow weapons.

Traps are a waste of money, so I don't use them, and probably won't in the future.

I think its pretty lame that a one class is singled out. I make it a point to never boot anyone from my party unless they are REALLY asking for it.

Heh. Dual Gunnies are great, for me. I guess they do appease the old Western Dual Pistol aspects I remember. However, I would not say no to a little Chow Yun-Fat if they ever gave them that. (Heck, at least it would finally give us a way to actually be able to Dodge S-rank enemies and attacks without staying a mile away from them. Them monster attacks don't have a hit-box, they have a hit-building.)

Still, I never noticed that Figunners got so many users. I guess I'm still used to being the rare Guntecher. (I still enjoy gunning around, and then whipping up some status aids and health and hearing the surprised, "We have a Guntecher?" line).

A friend of mine just went the FiGunner way, and he's one of the only ones I know. I'm curious as to what style he'll settle into.

I wouldn't go grouping all fighgunners together. I have double sabers, but they are not the reason I chose to become one.

Actually it was a toss up between Fighgunner and Wartecher.

I actually seen what both could do and I liked Swords at the time *still do* WT's couldn't use but Figh could. Truthfully the end result for me was because I like single claws, and also I love Xbow's. I wanted to be one of the only people to use that combo and use it effectively.

When I first used a dbl saber I hated it. It was my own fault though because I used it on a single enemy and thought it was terrible. I tried again like a month down the line and begun using it and found out it could hit groups, then I used it as backup.

Only thing I'd say is I need to use traps more often, but I tend to forget in heat of battle, and don't remember until i hit the shop and see traps for sell xD
