Red/Blue arrows in the corner

What are those? Sometimes one of them will disappear, but at least one is always there. It's been bugging me since I started playing.

They represent your latency. If they disappear, it usually means you are experiecing lag or disconnected.

The orange arrows indicate you sending information to the server. The blue arrows indicate the server sending information to you.

It shows that you are uploading and downloading.

aren't those suppose to be icons for your connections sending and recieving XD

it's up/down stream data. It's not up/down load. there is a difference. basically if the DS disappears it means you are lagging or or disconnecting. If US disappears it means that you aren't sending information.

Oh, ok. The game never says what they are (if it does I wasn't paying attention. As usual.), and PSO didn't have those. >.>

No. We just had a topic about the red/gray arrows next to clothing items, which is what reminded me about these.
