I was trying to figure out around how much Sega makes off of this game.
It would say at peak hours there are ~4,000 people online. I would imagine that would represent no more than 20% of all active accounts. So that comes out to 20,000 active members, and at $10 a month that would be $2,400,000 a year on subscriptions alone. And that doesn't count the JP servers.
With that amount of income it's no wonder they are making an expansion. However IMO a lot of things in expansion should have been part of the original PSU. Who knows.... maybe if they put in a little more effort, PSU would have got good ratings and they would have way more active members than they do now.
