Kubara Weapon Boards

I was wondering if anyone has tried to synth any of the new Kubara weapons you get from the shop after Dulk Fakis
I tried the Rodoc board w/ 90% and failed so i was wondering how everyone else faired
kinda want to see what all these weapons look like so if any one could post pics it would be most apreciated

yea same ting i was going for figured if i can grind tomirods to match a Granarod why not Rodoc, but failed and im out of kubara wood, i cant believe someone actaully bought that out of my shop.

I got rid of my kubara wood...traded it for photons....now i need kubara wood...someday you just wish you had the gift of foresight....anyways where is the best place to collect kubara wood any ideas?

Kubara can drop anywhere from boxes, so...

As for synthing, just got a 22% earth Ryo-Dagac (6*). Wonder what the value on it is on PS2/PC...

I would kill for kibara wood in offline, it's so damn hard to get with a lv 33 CAST (ranger) (who owns =p). The online place i know where to get it, is in the 'what's in the ruins' mission in parum, and the last boxes i see, are the 5 boxes that are stacked like this 9birds-eye view)

Just so you know, the Granarodoc has 8pp regen and a monster PP pool :9 nice for casting buffs/debuffs.

I synthed a couple of Kubara 6* wands so far. They didn't appear to have any remarkable characteristics.

Off-Topic: It would be appreciated if people could post or submit the stats for the new Kubara boards. The database only has stats for a few of the new weapons right now.

the reason for this is because when making striking weapons you only have a 36% chance and with a wand/rod u have a 70%-90% chance. its only fair and not only that striking weapons can only have 1 element each.

I'm hoping these Kubara weps get good ATP and PP boost ups when grinded...
the ATT is kinda low on my favorite one, the "Saudoc". But it looks very *beautiful* though.

I agree, most people are just buying the items because they are new and cheaper than normal boards of that star.

After people finish synthing all their boards with that chance I don't think that as many people will be eager to buy more. Alot of the people selling for 1k+ I bet brought all the wood they could find for 300-500 and marked it up 2x or so.

I was actually hoping the mass amount of kubara wood floating around would negate the effect of these boards somewhat...I was sorely mistaken. I brought 7 for 500 each which is the best deal I found, previously I wouldn't have even thought about buying it for that amount.

I managed to synth a 50% gudda knuckluc, then I went and broke it grinding it to 3*. grinding is what they're all about tho, so I better get used to the disappointment.

I dont know the two weapons i have seen (spear and 8* rod) they seem to have pretty decent stats. they were comparable to their equivolent in the other brands.

Easy to make? Er, no.

Max Strike PM is 41% on 8* Kubaras, and just over 50% for 6* ones. Considering the insane price of Kubara Wood on PC/PS2 now, farming it takes a while, which is the only option.

Shintsuki-zashic (8* Twin Dagger)

Pros
- Low board cost.
- Kubara wood substitue for more expensive wood.
- High PP for PA spamming.

Cons
- Horrible ATT.
- Requires grinding to be considered decent.
- Synthesis chance is 41% on a pure striking PM.
- Increase metal material use.
- Slightly lower ATA than normal 8* weapon.
- Higher ATP requirements.

Stats
PP: 412
ATT: 66
ATA: 224
ATP req. 358

EDIT: Normal attacks seem to do 145 with 26% light vs. 169 with 28% light 6* tsisava-zashi.

I synthed a Double Sabic my first try.

It looks identical to the Double Saber, same color and everything, but it doesn't have a brand name marring it.

Although the ATP and ATA are noticibly lower than the Double Saber, all double blade weapons have relatively low stats. So the actual damage isn't much lower.

Interestingly enough all three of my aksucs failed, but my single Al Dagac was a success and had a decent(22) percent.
Its stats are 69 atp 219 acc 394pp and 357 atp required to use.

i made 2 double sabics synthing 3rd right now. sold one for 200k the others are in my shop dont know if they sold. so far its been 14% light and 16 ice. i also aquired a 18% dark one from my friend. the aksuc really does suck

Well i've synthed every rod/wand, and all failed cept for a Wandrac and a Rodoc. I was bored so I grinded my Rodoc up to +5.

Rodoc +5
PP:1294 (1171 base)
TP: 476 (326 base)

vs.

Tomoirod +5
PP:1199
TP:516

Although the Rodoc isn't better than a tomoirod at +5, this could easily be compared to the Alteric and Hikauri. The 6* yohmei bow starts out better, but after the last couple of grinds, it loses to its Kubara variation. This could be the same scenario... i hope
