i just got my beast a axe and i was wondering what PA is the better out of the 2 avilable anga redda or anga dugerga.

Anga Redda.

Both have their uses, but in general Anga Redda is of higher value.
More hits (meaning more damage), levels ALOT faster and it's more stationary approach gives it an advantage over Dugrega, IMO.
One horizontal swing followed by a vertical cleave makes up the first phase, followed VERY RAPIDLY by a pair of earth-shaking hits of which the second strike launches the enemy into the air, with a tremendously mighty baseball-swing finishing the entire combo. All of Redda's strikes can hit up to two opponents each.

Dugrega, on the other hand, serves to shove up to two opponents away on the first phase, and follow up with a leap-attack in the second phase, finishing it off with a pair of strikes causing knockback, one strike in front of you and the other behind you.
This make Dugrega a powerful tool for crowd control.
But the rate of leveling is appalling!

My advice is to start off with Redda, and purchase Dugrega when you've got enough resources.

I think redda is better. With the opposing elements I usually do about 500-600 on the first set 700-800 on the second and about 1150 on the last hit. The last one is the best because the enemy flies away from you with a damage number of over 1000 almost always. Im only level 40 and i havent had a last shot yet that has done less than 1000 unless it was a zero.

Anga Redda is definitely alot better than Anga Dugrega, and alot stronger too, my redda does 1000+ easy on first 2 combo's and near 1500 on the final combo, and this picture shows what happens when i get a critical hit with my redda.Very Painful ^_^

but it is a critical hit tho, its like 75% more dmg, the average dmg i get with redda is 1200

Redda is the better axe PA. Dont even bother with the first one.

(yeah i know, i have a few 44% pikors, only way to see those numbers)

Anga Dugrega= High damage, low accuracy, crowd control.
Anga Redda= High damage (per hit is lower than Dugrega, but Redda is more hits), low accuracy, little crowd control.

They're both awesome. I prefer Dugrega personally, as it's more useful in a team against hard mobs, but Redda is decent. The fact that they're both totally different PA's makes me laugh at anyone who says outright 'Redda is better' or vice versa.

Unless you have jet boots for legs, the 2nd part of dugrega rarely connects, not to mention its slow as hell. If you really want crowd control then use a weapon that is good at it (Rising crush)

I've had no trouble connecting with Dugrega. I use it all the time, never had any complaints with it. (Before the PA rebalance it missed too much, but now it's great).
