What is a mag? People talk about feeding it, is it a creature?

If you've play Sonic Adventure or FF, it is like a Chao or Chocobo (or a Tamagotchi). It is a
little flying robot creature that hovers perpetually by your character. It changes forms (mine now looks like a cross between a buffalo skull and Majora's Mask http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif, and can gain up to three abilities. It also can help you when you need it most (like saving your rear from near-death).

I'm so badass i once enslaved a garanz as my MAG! no really..... i had to kill him when he sat on my shoulder like Pitri, and crushed me like those pillar things in the mines.

I have two mags. They're just plain weird... they argue a lot too. ^_^;
