Using B grinders on C weapons is better than using C grinder

My friend told me this today. Is there any truth to this?

In other words if you have a C weapon a grinder B+5 will give you better odds than a grinder C+5.

True or false? If true, how much does it improve the odds?

I heard something to the contrary. My money's on no... though it might be a possibility.

If there is a difference I don't think it makes a big deal, maybe it will be enough to make one grind be "very high" instead of "high."

Yes, using a higher-level grinder is better in most cases, there's an order that you can see in your inventory.

A C+8 is better than a B+1. (but i wouldn't risk it anyway)

I've heard that using higher rank grinders will not do anything for the chance. They are just more expensive...a B+10 = C+10, AFAIK.
