Gozoran Rod and Deathmaker drops

I played some S Rank Hive (just the first missions) and didn't even have any luck and one of those bat creatures that look like a tengoh/giant moth dropped the actual deathmaker weapon, not the board, the weapon. Thought I'd share. Also the Seed Vance drops the board for the deathmaker. And the Gozoran (the floating wizards) drop the material "gozoran rod" so I can't wait to get the board for that mat. I have only done about 5 complete S rank runs on hive and only 15 partial runs so their is hope to get those cool items people, and hardly any luck when it happened to. So don't wait for gold luck days.

lol it does affect drops tho, Lan had 3* luck today, and while doin PA runz, we got atleast 5-7 rares each run (most of which being Junaline & Goldina thinggy)

Someone bought the deathmaker from me for 300K, awesome, what's not so awesome is I had to buy 35 Ortaresin from the NPC (cuz no shops had any) for 265K Ouch http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif Well I have a Hirigi in the oven on a 100lvl Armor PM and only 41% chance.

Well, I got burned, bad! I spent around 600K just getting everything together for a single try at the Hiragi-Senba with a 100lvl pm armor and it failed http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif I even used Ice photons, I mean, I could understand if it was dark cuz it seems like dark always fails but yeah, total bummer http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

I'm still gonna be ok though, I have that 44% dark Hoza-Senba which when I play lvl90 enemies on Hive they barely hurt me. I guess the only way I'll try that Hiragi again is if I can find all the mats, not buy them.

As for the rod, I didn't know the material could drop yet. Was this SEED Awakened or Dark Satellite?

I'd imagine so...but the board for the weapon is most likely only level 100+.

Correct Umberger and BunnyGirl, it can drop from any difficulty, the mat that is. I don't think any grinder boards drop...just bases.
