View Full Version : PM evolution devices

I have checked on psupedia, and they haven't updated this. I am curious about these devices. Does anyone have any information about these devices?

Thank you,

Lady Moon

The devices are not available here yet. They allow your 4th-evolution/humanoid PM to change to an alternate form. This will have new look, behavior patterns, weapons & attacks.

are they available in Japan right now?

Rashiid

yeah JP have em.

I believe psupedia mentions that only the x1 and x2 series PM evolution devices are available in JP, so I do not know if they've gotten the x3 or x4 series yet?

But once they're available to the rest of us they can be purchased from the room decoration store for 50k.

We are getting them next week, along with three S2 missions and the level cap being raised to LV80. Only the 4X1 and 4X2 series of PM evolution devices will be available though.

Sweet, I should have my PM up to scruff once the 4X4 series comes out, then.

It seems odd to me that they're sold at the room decorations store (along with PM Zero). Seems like a better fit for the synthesis shop, what with all the partner machine displays...

Hm, the S2 missions are coming out? Any word on if S ranks are coming out with them? perhaps this will make existing S ranks easier to get...

That has bothered me really, I understand the shop tickets but the Device isn't really a room decoration..=

Yeah, we're getting them next week and according to someone who's played the JP version they cost 50k. So, f*** that s***. I want a GH-452, but not that bad. =

Hi, here was an interesting thread about the differences between a GH-451 and a GH-452 from a Japanese PSU player.
http://www.pso-world.com/viewtopic.php?topic=133058&forum=20

I can't really find any information about the other PM types though.

Here is another question. You buy a evo. device and use it, say you buy the 1x and use it will your 410,420,430,etc... then become 411, and so forth, or are they only corresponding each different pm (410, 420, etc..), the 41x device is only for the 410's. Maybe its a blond thing, but I am curius as to know how these work.

Thank you.

The 41x devices are only for the 41x series, etc etc...I think it just would not allow you to feed it an incorrect evolution device.

Spellbinder
Mar 5, 2007, 11:59 PM
All the devices are labled in the shop, 410, 411, 412, 420, 421, 422, etc. and they only work with each particular series of PM's, so you can't jump between a 410 and a 430 or anything like that. On the plus side (although expensive) you can swap between 4X0, 4X1, and 4X2 whenever you want. And that was my topic up there about 451 and 452 http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

I want to know how a 431 and 432 act in battle. I know one of them has a saber/crossbow combination which interested me(hopefully she know gravity strike)

Jey
Mar 6, 2007, 12:01 AM
Yeah there will be 3 devices for each of the 5 lolibot series, PM Device 410, Device 411, Device 412, only work on the 410 series, etc. You just feed it to them like a PM Device Zero.

I guess the cool thing is that they use S-rank weapons...

But yeah, who cares about lolibots, you can't really depend on them except in A or lower areas (sometimes). Where are the nice clothes!?

Zorafim
Mar 6, 2007, 12:04 AM
I too am interested in knowing how the 43xs handle. I have a 430 just for looks, and being able to balance some actual usefulness in with those looks would be nice.

Umberger
Mar 6, 2007, 12:06 AM
@VanHalen: Both 431 and 432 know Rising Strike, sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

@Jey: Not every PM uses S-rank weapons.

VanHalen
Mar 6, 2007, 12:13 AM
nooo well at least they use it I thought they just carry it for looks like how my 430 carried her wand and gun around after she healed herself. Do they still have still have a rifle has a 2nd weapon. Oh Zorafim I think they made the AI of the GH-430 a little better since she does attack things more often. She's not on some "gahhhh me GH-410 me smash" though but she does help out alot more.

GH-431 has an Assassin with Dark Shot and a handgun (the name escapes me at the moment, sorry) with Mayalee Hit.

GH-432 has a Cubo Dunga with an unknown bullet art...it's non-elemental, and causes Jellen (attack down). Somewhat worth mentioning is that she also carries a Bulletmaster with Twin Rising.

What the hell are the 460 series?

Umberger
Mar 6, 2007, 12:32 AM
No problem...I'm not sure if other threads have mentioned, but the 4x1 series are more defense oriented, and have a Me/HP Restore effect, whereas the 4x2 series are more offense oriented, with a Sturm Buster.

EDIT: Maylee...the 46x series is currently unobtainable, but my guess is that we'll get them in the future as a special PM Device of some sort. Either that, or no one has figured out the feeding pattern required to make one. The 46x series has an incredibly varying set of weapons, ranging from models specializing in Wands, to models that specialize in Claws...there's even one that specializes in Handguns.

Edit 3:I also Found info in relation to voices!

410:Woman 3 411:Woman 2 412:Woman 4
420:Woman 3 421:Woman 4 422:Woman 3
430:Woman 3 431:Woman ? 432:Woman 1
440:Woman 3 441:Woman 13 442:Woman ?
450:Woman 3 451:Woman 6 452:Woman 8

Now, I have no ideas what these voices sound like so, someone should go listen to the Female cast voices of these numbers, increase the pitch some, and then tell us what they sound like..if anyone really cares. XD

Who do you love?

I'll tell you, you love me.

Gryff, maybe you should credit your sources...JP PSU Wiki + Google Translator mbmb.

Also, Agutaru is Shifta...think Agtaride...I'm pretty sure the JP spell is called Agtal. Masei-sou is a bow bullet that knocks enemies down, or at least has the potential to. 452's Rentis doesn't just reduce tech damage, it makes you invincible to them for 3 hits.

All of the 4x1s have an HP Recovery effect, similar to Me/HP Restore, and all of the 4x2s have Sturm Buster.

Both US PC/PS2 and Xbox360 follow the Xbox360 updates posted on the Japanese official site, which is incidentally where PSUPedia gets them from (I do a basic translation of them, Miraglyth posts them generally).

Not just 'word on the street', this is from an official source, and what is more, the one official source I consider trustworthy (the US site is laughable when it comes to update info).

I'd be highly surprised if the update we get on Friday is any different to what is posted on the Xbox360 JP official site right now.

412

Behavior:
-Speaks same as 410. Supposed to be 420's AI, but isn't. Uses Sturm Buster. Uses max of all combos.

421

Behavior:
-Speaks like 440. 2% HP Recovery. PAs are Shousen Totsuzan-ga and Rensan Senshou-ga.

440 talks like a gangster on the US version? Hmm... now, perhaps its just my horrible japanese, but 440 never seemed gangster... Atleast my 451 which uses the same dialog always seemed... cuter than the sadist 450. But perhaps thats because I can only remember a few lines my 451 says... one of which is "Ka... kawaiii!!".

Should be so. But some of the 4x2s I've never seen use an SUV. Though perhaps I'm thinking of the wrong PM. I don't play in too many japanese parties anymore, and either way, most people don't bring their PMs into S or S2 missions. The jp wiki doesn't list either of the ranger 4x2 PMs as having an SUV. But then again, it doesn't list 452 as having one, and I know for a fact 452 has one. But then again, it barely has any information at all on 452. Who knows, I'm confusing myself now.
