View Full Version : What do you do after finishing leveling a job?

After you get your job to lv10, then what? Do you keep using that job, using all that time leveling the job to be rewarded by high stats? Do you level another job for variety or having a capped character? Or do you just make another character, since you're probably at the level cap anyway?

I'd probably keep the character I have now and cap out all her jobs. Low level grinding and high level grinding are similar, but one has more rewards. That, and I want everything on one character (you never know when a sudden update may change things).
What about all of you?

*Mmm, pie...*

Well, I keep the character, learn all the weapons I feel like learning, and then when I feel it's necessary, switch to one of the three alts I have.

Now you can hunt rares without worrying about MP or Exp. Its a great feeling.

I'll stay with that same job. Though I have been thinking about going to force to get to Wartecher or going to ranger to become a fortegunner. Then again I have another character who is a guntecher going on fortetecher and fortegunner.

try leveling protranser in bruce or use my alts. another thing to do would also be leveling photon arts/bullets/techs

I was considering turning Hikaru into a Guntecher after reaching level 10...but using bows and cards weren't gonna cut it, and there was NO WAY I was going to erase techs to do that. I didn't wanna let go of those, so I just made another character. I lost creativity so I just named him after my main, lol.

Oh, and I like pie. Just had some cheesecake pie too...yummy. xD

This is the least fair poll ever. Sushi is way better than pie OR making a new character when getting to level 10. I want to choose them all. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Still, making a new character at 70/10 (or 80, or whatever the level cap is) means that you get a whole new game experience and you get to have another persona. Although, saying "Let me go get my force", does kinda take some of the magic out of the whole deal...

I think I'll make Lan a Wartecher after he's lv10 FT. I'll probably max out a few PAs quickly, then make the switch.

After all, I could be a caster Wartecher. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif Think I'll have 4 wands, a claw, and a dagger. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

If i had the time i once had on PSO I would level all classes to ten
just on one character level cap and then do it again on a new character

Well, the whole point of leveling a job is to have it as strong as possible, right? So why toss all of it aside once you finally get it up there and start over on a new one?

I'd keep my class and work on my bullets instead. Those alone would take more time to cap than the job. New job would be on a new character.

New jobs are hazardous to Ryuki's health.
Unless he's brainwashed, he should only
be filling his brain with brawn and steel.
Tons of it. (And maybe some socializing.)

When I top fF, I'll just go FG... that should keep me busy till the increase the job level cap.

I level 2 jobs.

My main ( ForteGunner ) is already lvl 10, now i'm leveling Fighunner, and I like playing it as a Ranger with melee support rather than the opposite. So basically If there's a mission very hard for a pure ForteGunner I'll switch to Figh.

Keep using the job, being a Fighgunner is too great. >_>

Since capping my Fortefighter, I tried Fighgunner on it but hated the reduction in power, and it made me feel like a watered down version of my old job. :/ Nothing against Fighgunners, it just isn't for me. So I hopped on my Newman Fortetecher alt and leveled her to 41, though I have more fun on my CAST Fortegunner, which is 46 now. I like using the race that is most optimal for the job, so you wouldn't catch me leveling Force on my beast, for example.

I still play my Fortrfighter the most though - hunting rares and capping PA's take up most of my time now, until the level cap is raised to 80.

I'm only at level 5 wartecher myself, but I feel that when I hit level 10, I'll probably make an alt to level that up since I don't want to lose all the PAs on my main character.

Sushi is good http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

I stay with my class http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif and cap most of my PA's

It'll be a long time until I'm there. I'm always about 20 levels behind the Level Cap each time it raises. But for the Job. I have a feeling that getting that job to level 10 is only a tiny fraction of what it takes to finish off all the Photon Arts I want. Killing monsters for better items and profit.

I'm done with leveling fortetecher, but I'm staying. I'd rather now concentrate on leveling my character and her spells, especially the news ones i got. i never really had a chance to use them since it's not good to level spells in Bruce's A and B. Sushi sounds good though.
