I have one of them cable phones.. like vonage sort of.

And I was told that I could play online with gamecube the same as always only I would have to plug the phone line in to the modem.

I cant get the gamecube to connect right. It keeps reciveing error 102.

I tried calling my phone company and they said that I would prolly have to call nintendo to see if they support Voice Over IP cause thats what the phone is...

anyways Nintendo is closed and I would like to know if there is anything anyone here knows about this and what I can do to resolve this before tomorrow...

I noticed that when working on customer's computers, I usually wasn't able to connect to their dialup account using our VOIP service either. Some of my customers still have dialup and in order to make sure everything is working and functional (and setup correctly for their internet service) I have to run the machine over to a friends house and test it there since he has a plain ol' land line. I would say probably 80% of the time when I tried connecting to their dialup service on our VOIP line I received error 777 or error 688.

after about a dosson tries we gave up and went back to trying about an hour or so later... and it connected.

we figure that mabie sega was doing check up on the server at the time we tried to connect. Considering the White Day decorations were up when we got through, and before they were not up.

either that or with the Voice over Ip it "Will" connect but it may give problems in the prosses
