Arrows backwards on units?

Are the arrows backwards on units that raise or lower PP usage, or is that how they are supposed to be?

Like this picture below shows 2 arrows pointing down, as if it lowers PP usage.
But on PSUpedia it says 150% skill/bullet PP usage.

Also like the Giga/Bullet PP Save. The way the arrows are in the picture, it looks like it would Lower Strike PP while raising Firearm PP usage...

Just seems backwards to me.

You're right. It does look backwards, unless they're just trying to say that Down Arrow always equals a negative effect, while up arrow is always a positive effect. It would make more sense to reverse the arrows since it says PP Usage instead of PP efficiency.

The way the descriptions are worded is that saying something like "Striking PP usage down" equates to you don't use it as well, meaning you use more. Like the Giga/Bullet PP Save says "Firearm PP usage up" meaning, you use it more effectively.

So the arrows just follow that same thing I guess. But to be fair, it does seem backwards to me too.

PSUpedia (http://psupedia.info/index.php?title=Units) says 75% Bullet and 150% Skill. So I guess it saves you 25%

Yes, arrow up is a positive, arrow down is a negative.

Average X360 PP save prices...

Skill = 1.5m - 2m
Bullet = 2m - 2.5m
Tech = 2.5m - 3m

Which is fair considering that the Tech PP Save is the most difficult to get imo.

Agreed... it would still look backwards to me, but at least I could understand it then.
