View Full Version : Your D&D Alignment

So Quizilla usually sucks, but this is DnFhknD!

Quiz (http://www.quizilla.com/users/NinjaGimp/quizzes/What%20type%20of%20alignment%20are%20you?)

Chaotic Neutral
You're a free spirit. If someone put some shackles on you... it'd be worse than death. You probably like nature, and you love to be free in the forest, with the animals. Thing is... is that you probably dislike the government. You're probably an anarchist, too. Well, that's all good and stuff, but, you need to realize that government keeps many, many people alive, cause not all of us enjoy being poor.
Anyway, have fun... you... forest... ranger.. person... or maybe not. By the way, you don't *have* to like the animals.

Took another and got:

http://images.quizilla.com/S/sircampalot23/1119584793_NeutralGood.jpg
Neutral Good: You believe selflessness and virtue, and strive to do what is right even if you don't always succeed. Rules are more like guidelines and must be interpreted to better serve their intended purpose. Sometimes you tend to be judgemental and egotistical, but deep down you are truly committed to the welfare of your fellow man/woman. People see you as a loyal friend and trustworthy soul. Sometimes you may take a little longer in deciding the correct course of action, but when you act, you take action for the greatest good.

I did table top like...twice, mainly cause none of us doing it weren't really serious about it.
I'd like to do some hardxcore classic old school tabletop DnD but part of me is afraid to journey into those depths of nerdiness.

Lawful Good: You're the harbinger of light and justice. You strive for peace, justice, and order. You may or may not take an active role in supporting your views, but even if you do not you often wish you had the ability to affect your surroundings in a positive way. On the downside, it's easy to let righteousness cloud your judgement and sometimes you suffer from a superiority complex. Your heart, though; remains that of a caring, selfless, and determined person and others will see this even if you ARE stuck-up about it.

Chances are, you'll end up becoming wealthy, because of your shark-like tactics in the world, today. You're probably quick witted, and, well, while you may follow the rules of the world... you don't much care for how your actions affect other people.Anyway, you need to learn that you can't win everything, cause.. you're probably a sore-loser. Anyway, though... you and a bunch of your corrupt punk friends will be running the economy one day while the rest of us are living in sewers, so... enjoy yourself.

I got Neutral good on both, which is very fitting for me personally, but in the games I tend to play a Paladin. Though I probably should be a fallen paladin really as I sometimes do steal something I think I'll really need.

Neutral Good!
You're the friendly guy! You may not have the best morals, or the strongest beliefs, but you're a damn good friend! You care about other people, and have a hard time staying angry. You probably break rules for other peoples, a lot, even if it'll get you in trouble.
Bad thing about you, is that you're probably passive, you may get pushed around and not even know it. So be careful out there, nice-guy.
You just need to learn to think for yourself sometimes, and to realize that you have your own problems that need to be dealt with before you try to help everyone else. But, other than that... you'd probably make a good clinical psychologist.

astuarlen

I always get some kind of Neutral.
That either means I'm Swiss or consistently inconsistent.

First quiz says I'm True Neutral.
Second has this to say:

True Neutral: You support balance and moderation in all things. You are calculating and empathetic towards all sides in most arguements and will usually find a way to make a problem be seen in a a new light. You generally exist without too many strong feelings and avoid them because every up has it's down. In many ways you are wise and unbiased and people often come to you for advice, but close freinds are hard to find and harder to keep because you are not always seen as trustworthy.
This "official" quiz (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/20001222b) pins me as Neutral, again.
According to the Ladies of Hack (http://www.ladiesofhack.com/memberstats.htm), I am a Neutral Neutral Halfling Wizard.

Far out.

Edit:
The Dizman gets my Medal of Awesome for playing Baldur's Gate and PST. Well done, soldier.

P.S. I harbor a secret longing to try tabletop, but I wouldn't know who to play it with or how. Eh.

Uhhh, you'd lose your paladin status, all your neat powers, and stop gaining experience points if you steal something or do something that violates your oath. If I was your DM, I'd have to slap the taste out of your mouth for doing something like that. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif

So's I takes me the official quiz and once again get:

Chaotic Neutral

A chaotic neutral character follows his whims. He is an individualist first and last. He values his own liberty but doesn’t strive to protect others’ freedom. He avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions. The chaotic neutral character does not intentionally disrupt organizations as part of a campaign of anarchy. To do so, he would have to be motivated either by good (and a desire to liberate others) or evil (and a desire to make those different from himself suffer). The common phrase for chaotic neutral is "true chaotic." Remember that the chaotic neutral character may be unpredictable, but his behavior is not totally random. He is not as likely to jump off a bridge as to cross it. Chaotic neutral is the best alignment you can be because it represents true freedom both from society’s restrictions and from a do-gooder’s zeal.

Ladies of Hack say I'm a True Neutral Elf Bard.

Oops, had it all wrong. If it's an intentional act, you immediately and permanently lose your paladin status and become a fighter. If it's unintentional, say, you're under mind control from some evil wizard or artifact, then you lose your powers and stop gaining experience until you complete a quest to atone for your misdeeds.

Chaotic Good: You work for what you know to be right. Individualism, and self-conviction are some of your primary traits and though you may never actually break social norms or laws, you are most likely to do so if another can be helped by your actions. In your mind the ends justify the means, and only helping others matters. You hate to see people getting pushed around and are probably a little more firey and emotional about the actions you take. People will see you as a generous person with a fierce temper and trustable to do what is right.

I find that the result hinges pretty much entirely on your answer to the final question. Then again, my answers to the other questions may've just balanced out perfectly to a 0, resulting in the last question throwing it out entirely to whatever result the last question indicates.

Still, as I consider myself, I can be described as either of the above.

Chaotic Neutral: Well, you're one of two things. Insane, or nearly there. Like the Batman villian "Two-Face" You are as predictable as the toss of a coin. You may switch sides in any conflict many times and owe loyalty to no one. You're strengh is your unpredictability and ability to blend into almost any situation necessary. Life for you is a string of often "short-sighted" pleasures, but even when fail, no matter how hard or fast you'll eventually brush it off in time and move on. People see you as happy and carefree, but also fleeting and unpredicatably trustworthy. You may not have many long friends, but you definitely have a LOT of accquaintences.

Lawful Neutral: You are the cornerstone of society. Stable and strong, you are the foundation from which a society is largely based of. You recognize laws as a necessary control that should be supported in what ever form that promotes order. You tend to be a "big picture person" and when you see bad things happen you acknowledge that all things end. You support structure and systematic approaches and may come off as distant and cold to those who know you, but even if they don't agree respect and civilized conversation follow more often than a fist fight and insults.

Neutral Evil: Either circumstance or hard-learned lessons have taught you one thing. If you aren't out for yourself, then no one will be. You take what you want when it is clear you will benefit from it. No effort is wasted and you act only when your interests are best served. Your motivations are generally greed for material, respect, or power over others. You are usually a distant and unhappy person to those around you, calculating and even sometimes long-sighted. The wisest of this alignment may even accept and recognize themselves as balance to the "naive" do-gooders who squander their energy on lost causes. This alignment is generally more brazen and risk prone than lawful evil, but the payoff is usually greater. People may see you as distant and a cold toward others, and in general they're right. You'll probably have a close circle of "allies" who are expendible, and trust among them is based on the precept that if any one of them could screw you over for profit or power, they would.

That's pretty accurate I guess, I can be pretty harsh when it will ultimately help me, heh.

Yep, we're evil. We may not know it, but that's just how we are. We may want to be a better person, or a better friend, like them Neutral Goods, but we just have difficulty not cracking a mean joke or saying something we shouldn't. Now... we don't go out of our way to hurt someone... so.. that's kinda good... but we can't see to get too much better. And we're not too much more emotional than them True Neutrals. Well, at least not on the outside... but we definitely keep a lot locked up.
Anyway, we should probably learn to be a bit more serious and to think about other people's feelings before we crack a joke, or say something we shouldn't.
Be a bit more caring... but anyway, you'll probably end up being a God, like me..
Congratulations.

Well, I'd say anything that doesn't involve chance should be handled by the players. We'd need one or two people who can call random events like critical hits/failures, lucky shots, or using a skill you have no experience with.

Only issue is that a post must stop at a random event. Another thing to work out is NPC interaction. . . Which would also need to be worked by a DM or something. To keep things going, we'd need more then one DM to decide random events so the adventure can keep rolling.

I would, personally, love to get something like this going. . . It just needs a good amount of tweaking.

Pretty bad quiz when it asks you what you think you are. . . The quiz is there to TELL you who you are, because only others can do that http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

You're Lawful Neutral!
You're a judge, and you're a good one, at that. You probably always have an opinion, and probably find yourself helping others a lot of times. You tend to go out of your way to help other people with their problems, or to settle a dispute between friends.
Though, sometimes, this can annoy people. People like you just need to learn to back out of people's personal things.
Otherwise, you're an aid to society http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

I have a lot of free time cuz I'm a loser, so if anybody would be interested in doing some DnD shit PM ME AND MAYBE IF I GET ENOUGH PEOPLE I CAN FIGURE SOMETHING OUT.

Official one informs me that I am Neutral Good. Official one is full of shit. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

The LoH one pegs me as a Chaotic Good Elf Sorcerer, which is about what I'd do. Though I oddly scored second highest as a Bard, go figure.

First one pegs me as Chaotic Neutral.

One with the pictures somehow pegs me as Lawful Neutral, which is so far the most off yet. XP I am so very not Lawful.

I would self-assess as something between Chaotic Good and Chaotic Neutral. Always chaotic, though.

what the hell?

Hey, you're Lawful Evil!
You'll prolly end up being some corrupt politician or businessman or something. But you'll be good at what you do! Chances are, you'll end up becoming wealthy, because of your shark-like tactics in the world, today. You're probably quick witted, and, well, while you may follow the rules of the world... you don't much care for how your actions affect other people.
Anyway, you need to learn that you can't win everything, cause.. you're probably a sore-loser. Anyway, though... you and a bunch of your corrupt punk friends will be running the economy one day while the rest of us are living in sewers, so... enjoy yourself.

Hey, you're like me, you Neutral Evil person, you.

In a game I am currently playing I am a Chaotic Good character, and the player (me) is the god of my character. I can pray to me to find out things said out of character. It rocks.

Chaotic Good! Yeah, you're meant for the people! You're a perfect Rights activist, you probably don't like the government much, and you just can't stop thinking about how other people are probably suffering right now.You would make a good friend... if you learned to take things one step at a time, and not make your goals so big. You try to keep your mind set on making a lot of people happy in one big swing, but the fact that you could be making a lot of people happy one step of a time completely skips your mind. Anyway, if there was some sort of world takeover by an evil dictator... people like you will be necessary... cause you'll be the ones to fight back. You need to learn to take things a bit less world-wide, though, and to start local, and possibly just in your house. You can be a good listener, if you try hard enough, though.Anyway, you may be a feminist or a civil rights activist or something like that... so... have fun with that.

On the pics one I got Neutral Good. On the Ladies of Hack, I got a Lawful Good Halfling Bard. I As long as I get good, I'm, well, good. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif But I fancy myself a Chaotic or Neutral good. The Chaotic was only off by 3 points in the ladies of hack quiz.

This was fun.
