NEW RAPPY LOCATION?

I was doing the new party mission on Neudaiz when snap, we get a Rappy spawn.
Then lucky enough, we run into them again on our next run http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I hope this isn't old news.

I've done the mission dozens of times and never saw rappies, but a friend of mine claimed to have seen them twice today as well. I love rappies. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Yup I have also seen them. Only 2 rappies in a spawn and I have no clue what the blocks were like. We got a hell of a lot of rares when we saw them too.

I still refuse to believe Normal Rappies exist. They're a figment everybody else dreamed up.

Something that never every appears in front of Akaimizu. Normal Rappies must've officially declared war on my characters, because they frankly never show up.

Probably as long as it takes for people to report that they've appeared in enough missions.

Heck, if I had to go on just what I've seen, I would've told you that Rappies only appear on events, and it's a rare and hard spawn just in Linear Line (for Xmas) and Mad Creatures (for Amore). I also would've told you that I don't know Jao exist.

Luck is a strange thing. You can't do anything about it. And there's always some people who just don't get it. One person might get to level 30 and see 6-15 rare occassions of a spawn. One could max out their character and an expert class and only see 2.

Needless to say, it's rare enough, even for the lucky ones, that they might assume that maybe certain levels don't have Rappies, or Jaos.

That is where the two I saw spawned as well. The map I received seemed to pretty easy in Block 1: it was entirely Ageeta and Ollaka. There were actually no Tengohg encountered at all, if I recall correctly.

The only missions that I haven't heard of or seen a rare spawn in are Train Rescue, Grove of Fanatics, Mine Defense, and Rogue's Shortcut. Moatoob doesn't seem too popular on the JP servers since there's alot of missing info about the missions there, so those two could likely have a rare spawn as well.

For those of you that have seen a Rappy in the Eastern Peril, did you encounter any king Ageetas or (Ol)Gohmons? PSU Wiki notes that they only show up on the spawns with the Rappy and I would like to know if this is true.

I fought those rappy yesterday, they where my first rappy in PSU (more than 3 months playing...) and I didn't like killing them :_

Why can't they run away or fly?

Because theyre so tasty, that if they ran away the flavor explosion would destroy the server. Its the explanation to the PS2/PC occasional server crashes, someone let a rappy go....

does giga / pp skill save have any chance of dropping from them? if so, then it looks like another reason for me to do that mission over and over.

On S, yes the Giga/PP Skill Save can drop from them. Any S rank Rappy, I believe, lv55 and over can drop that garbage unit. No offense. All it does is grant an extra PA use or two. I got one last night along with an Hard/Power Charge on the same run and the Giga/PP Skill Save wasn't that great.
