Whats this telepipe trick i heard about?

is it true that if you keep telepiping back and forth that a enemy will turn to a rare enemy if that enemy has a rare form?

true.
yesterday i "lost" a 'special' lilly due to that it threw megid on me.... i piped back down and she was gone/not 'special' anymore -> it gets re-randomized each time you load the level. and in ep.1&2 this even works in quests.

Bah, I tried this is fake in yellow and piped out and in about 35 times and got diddly in a room with about 10 rappies.
