25k for just one megi-photon?

why is it that i need 7 megi-phantons its going to cost me over 200k? whats up with it cost 25k for just one megi-photon??????(this is at player shops)

your better off just running Linear Line for them. Remember, whatever an enemies element is, they can drop that Photon. The economy is still trying to settle, so good luck trying to buy anything without max meseta.

Just run Linear Line, or do Eastern Peril C and kill the poison spewers for easy Megi Photons. More than likely though you'll have no problem finding them in Unsafe Passage.

The market for elemental Photons used to be pretty huge, on a very good day you MIGHT find one under 30k. That's died down a bit recently, but things are still pretty ridiculous. Never understood how it even started, myself, considering how painfully easy the things are to find. When all the prices originally jacked up I had around 99 of each in my PM and more in storage....

Hmmm, It drops from the enemies mostly. Unsafe is more for general Photons.
It tends to run like...

# of Megi = # of (ban+ray+di+zon+gra)

So... Megia SHOULD be the most common. Just try again. And if this fails, for some reason, eastern Parril drops a lot of megi photons out of the poinson plants

You could always solo eastern peril a couple times. 50% of the time, the little poison bushes on the ground drop megi-photons. Its pretty stupid.

I remember, I needed just ONE Zon-Photon to go out of my way to get an electric element armour (Let's keep in mind, I don't wear the armours for the resistance, I wear them for the colours), so I decided, "To the player shops!"

This reminded me why I never buy anything from the playershops. I had 30k on me, and a single one would have been 20k. DOES anyone buy photons from these guys? I decided then I'd sell a whole bunch of crap (My prices for the rare materials were problably give aways, but my photons WERE overpriced... well, not by our standards anyways) including photons at 1k a piece. It all sold, and I was now 180k richer.

The thing is, I don't blame a shopkeeper one bit if he sells one megi-photon for 200k. If people are buying at that price, you can't blame them for charging that high. In the end, if there are many players that are too lazy to farm their own photons and instead buy at high prices out of convenience, prices will go up. Personally, when I get my own shop assuming prices are relatively the same, I'll happily charge about 1-5k a photon(depending on element). I don't think that's an unreasonable price to save farming time. As far as charging much higher than that, I just think it's too unreasonable to charge such high prices for things I find all the time, but I don't blame those that do.

Yes, they take 4 hits to kill them. Also look out for the bees nests in the caves hanging from the cieling. Theyre the only things I know of that drop "Something Sweet"

It's just the laws of inflation, don't blame people for selling it that high, everything else is overpriced, and people need money to buy from other peoples shops. =S

I started out cheap, but people were selling it for higher and higher, and that's what I did, in order to buy from the majority of shops, I need that type of money, and that doesn't come from missions. =x

Neither of these statements are correct. The element of the enemy has no influence on the photons it drops. The elements of the photons that come from enemies are dependent upon the mission's area. Boxes seem to be exempt from this rule though and will drop any type of photon regardless (assuming they can drop them, that is).

Do eastern peril, I don't care what rank, depends on your character. I did 14 runs on S to get enough frags for my first ult PA (splendor crush) and I was partying with full parties. I came away with about 30 megi photons and 7-10 of most of the other types (ray, ban and di for sure). Imagine solo'ing it.
