Challenge: OFFICAL CHALLENGE SHIP

Since there is not a Challenge ship a friend told me I should try to make one. So I declare that the offical challenge ship is ALTAIR 4.

This thread (http://www.pso-world.com/viewtopic.php?topic=34378&forum=8&7) and the news posted on the front page on the date of Friday, November 29 @ 23:34:30 PST gives the Official PSOW ship/block and LOBBY dedicated to Challenge mode for PSOW on a weekly get together basis. I'm sure you can still use the same ship/block/lobby for Challenge mode as we use for the weekly get togethers. Atleast that would make the most sense.

You are free to goto any other ship/block if you wish, but the PSOW ship/block/lobby for Challenge mode has been set.

What I said has nothing to do with PSOW. I was just telling everybody the official place to go for challenges is Altair 7 now. Dont even think I was trying to change the psow block because I said nothing about it. Why dont you try to read a little better next time.

Notice the "If" at the very beginning? I wasn't sure if thats what you were reffering to, thus why it was added to the sentence structure.

I have to cover all the bases to make sure. And you could have posted something to the effect of "This is in no affiliation to the PSOW ship/block for Challenge mode, but is universal for everyone".

Also, key into my last sentence that I posted.

I didnt change it because I cant read or whatever you think. A guy on gamefaqs told me that if alot of people start going to Altair instead of Vega that block 4 would fill up just to be a regular lobby. So he said i should make it block 6,7, or 8.

I usually do C mode on Deneb 08 and be done with it. The people who know me and I've done C mode with usually go there from time to time.

It don't matter too much about a C Mode ship seeing as nobody here can even get their shit straight about what ship C mode should be on.

In light of it I just say do C mode where your team happens to be.

I already have 3 RA Zans so until C5 comes online finally, I'm just not even going to worry about it...

err...then why should the C-ship be a stupid US ship? Please think, it has to be on one ship, whether it's JP, EU or US. All ships are universal to all players, no matter where they live. Thats the premise of PSO.

RBF I beleive, is talking about those on the import of the JP release, which is blocked from the domestic and newly released/updated version of the JP version due to a bug.

Either way, as said, play where you want to play. You have the ship/block you listed, the JP ship that RBF listed, and you have the official PSOW get-togethers on Antares/08 every Friday night.

Just enjoy the game, wherever you play. =)

Tell that to Sega. The ships are not universal. People will never be able to go to Mintaka 6 on the US version, because if we ever do get to play on JP servers, they'll be the JP 1.1 ones

I think I read someplace that the JP updated version releases on Dec 12th, so it'snot out yet. Sometime after the 12th I believe sonic team plans on connecting the new pathced JP version to the US version.

My best guess is that IF (and that's a pretty big if) they do link the servers, they'll probably do it during the maintenance where they add the Christmas theme (and presumably a Christmas quest). They'll kill two rappies with one frying pan that way. That'll most likely happen about a week or so before Christmas.

Well, tonight was a pretty big hit as far as C mode goes, wasn't it? Lobby 10 was packed much of the time at least, and many people from other lobbies of the block joined our C games (pretty quickly, too! Point being... It's been brought up in a different thread or two, but I think it'd be best to move over to block 9 or elsewhere, and reserve an entire block rather than lobby, at the very least for challenge night.

Far as an official C mode block, I'm all freakin' for that! But if, in fact, the US servers are linked to the JP servers (I'm still skeptical I gotta admit, even if it says so on Sega's own site), I'd probably be hangin' in their official block, anyhow. Yea, after last night, I think the Friday night C-Mode meetings should be moved to a different block. I'll talk it over with a few people and figure out which block. I think spilling over to Antares 9 is a good idea. But I need to talk with a few people first. We'll have it figured out by next Friday's meeting, don't worry. I'll keep everyone informed. ^_^

I'm not sure about an official C-Mode home for the US players. That would require a few sites to agree upon a specific place, then actually fill it up. I'm all for it if we can work something. But if the US and JP servers get connected, I think it would be best to hop onto the JP C-Mode home, since it's already established.

Ok, when we were deciding PSOW's official meeting block, we also decided on PSOW's official C-Mode block. I guess everyone forgot about that, even me. No one objected to it, so we'll stick with it. I searched Google and didn't find any sites using it. And no one has been on it all day. I hope this isn't stepping on anyone's toes.
