once most of my weapons turned A rank and I tried them out, THEY ANHIALATED!!!! I WAS LIKE WEAPON'S OF MASS DESTRUCTION!!! but then, I came back to the PP charge and as soon as I pressed A, MY MOUTH DROPPED!! I HAD AN INSANE PRICE FOR PP!!! my PP ued to cost 250 when all my weapons were empty. NOW THEY COST 500 AND ALL OF THEM WERE HALF FULL!!!!!!!!!!!!! PP is just like oil in the U.S. now!! the prices are getting out of control. please, can everyone start raving about how the PP prices are insane. Oh ya, also say how much you spend on PP if all your weapons were to be empty of PP.

Please take care of your capslock key, and '!' useage.

On Topic: I routinely pay 500-700 meseta on a recharge. I've been in excess of 1500 before...force have the highest costs in terms of PP IIRC.

Um.... I have about 25 Melee A-ranks on me at all time, so Charge Costs.... I don't even know -_-... Its just, A LOT

Well, thinking about it, eventually with the SS missions coming out, there will be a higher frequency of materials to sell in the player shops, higher meseta drops, and higher mission rewards. Finding 500-2500 a mission should become fairly easy. If its still a pain, you could always just sit in a game for while, letting the PP slowly charge on each weapon.

Oh yeah, mine is about 900 meseta at the moment, and its only going to become worse since my goal is to get 8* axes, lances, knuckles, twin claws, and single claws of each element. Having 30 A rank weapons may become troublesome. Photonchargecosmos will be my saviors.

I spend 150-450 per mission. Guess its not that bad seeing some other people. I was gonna resort to being cheap and just open a mission and just sit there while it fills up but I don't really have the patience after I did that the first time.

Just wait until S ranks come out: you'll be spending like, at the very least, 1,500 meseta!!! THAT'S INSANE!!!!!!

Hmm... the recharge station is probably a good place to get rid of the excess meseta in the system, I think, actually. Perhaps they should be overcharging on PC/PS2--if only until the economy stabilizes.

That's a pretty good idea A2K *spams all PAs*

I don't think I've ever payed over 1k. I just carry 10 charges and don't spam PAs very much.

I wouldn't worry about it much. Think of it this way if it helps (since you guys should be getting S2 missions soon).

On a casual run through a mission it may cost me 1500 ~ 2000 meseta. On a harder mission where I use alot of PP it costs me 2500 or more meseta since I may need to use a PP Charge or two.

However, not including any item drops I might sell at the end of the day, the reward for S Rank on the more popular S2 missions range from 11,000 to 19,000 meseta, so anything you spend on the PP cube will be more than covered.

Never had to spend more than 200 meseta. Then again, I actually use regular attacks more than I use PAs. Only rangers and forces should have huge PP recharge costs, really.

well usually I make back my PP cost from my runs...sooo no biggy.

funny thing is: with 12* weapons, it's CHEAPER to use a Photon Charge than it is to fill 'em up at the cube - 12*s run about 700 apiece to fill at the PP cube.

But yeah, I tend to use up TONS of PP while I'm soloing; on the other hand, I also get ALL teh monehs!!!!

Really high lvl sranks solo 3-4k. Normal 900-1200. If you want to save money in the long run while using guns, use highly grinded 6* yohmei guns.

I average about 800-1200 a run I believe.

i mostly do bruce missions so.....Bruce B i spent about 1250-1600 a recharge. bruce A about 2000-2500

Mar 9, 2007, 12:39 AM
hmm i feel sorry for the all of ya....I only pay about 200-300 when and if i use the photon charger...then again i only carry 4 of the 9* axe which has less pp than most of the b rank sabers and a twin claw...I usually only use one axe per run...two if im running neudaiz((stupid opposing elements)) I use a lot of photon charges though because i almost constantly am using redda.

Mar 9, 2007, 12:43 AM
i spend give or take 500 mes per recharge, i use twin sabers and double sabers and assorted low PP items

Ffuzzy-Logik
Mar 9, 2007, 12:45 AM
Let's see...

My WT spends around 500 per recharge when I have to support, and less than 150-200 when there is a fT present.

Not too bad, really.

using anti-gao tactics in hive #3 = 20+ charges per run, and 2k refills! Leveling killer shot is bad too... 4k per block in grove of fanatics

You know you can use 1* rifles to do that, yeah?

Considering the fact that I've actually emptied over 20000 PP on 20 A Rank guns at once, for a test of course, It costed 4717 Meseta to fill them all up...

I generally only expend about 600-1000 Meseta woth of PP, depending on if i use my grenaders and laser cannons...

Syl
Mar 9, 2007, 03:17 AM
Ha I think I take the trophy... I've spent over 8k in one charge...

protip: Don't use Phantoms to lvl your killer shot, even in a full party >.>

I had to resort to grinding Riflics to get 1300+ PP. I have a full palette of +7 Riflics to try and save meseta, and it works, cuts recharge costs by around 3/5 compared to a palette full of Phantoms. I recently started to carry around 6 Riflics +7 (kill shot), 9 Phantoms (kill shot), 9 Deathmakers(Twin Mayalee), and a wand or two just incase.

A regular S rank mission w/ a full party can cost me around... 4-5k per charge on average =/

Depends on the difficulty and time it takes to complete...

I'm a lazy ass XD

Well like, um I never really thought about it, I was really only concerned with PP... so how much do those PP Brahos give me (if you're even talking about grinded ones >.>)?

Syl
Mar 9, 2007, 03:46 AM
Ah pfft, also forgot to mention that those are my current costs since I'm leveling my new bullets.

If I were using my old setup:
-Alteric
-Deathmaker
-Deathmaker
-Mira-kikami/Scepter
-Mira-kikami/Scepter
-Mira-kikami/Scepter

That set up would cost about... 1k per charge, so totally not bad compared to my current set up >.<

Solo'n to level up my slowly evolving crossbows (only come in A ranks), I spend about 1200-2000.

But that's cause I play tag with the monster who can heal in mad creatures.

Normally around 500 I spend on recharging, though I spend 700-800 for Bruce because of the amount of weapons i carry and my Hard/Power Charge. I'm sorta glad to be a fortefighter for cheap recharge rates, but then again we have to spend some serious cash on good % weapons.

Akaimizu

I would agree. The Forces are going to have the highest Spend cost, with this model. It used to be nearly as bad with Gunners, but now that people are doing more S missions, the costs are starting to drop a bit for Gunners since Damage SEs improve automatically with tougher monsters. It becomes more useful for the Gunner to inflict the SE then forget about hitting that monster, and just try to get another with SE, due to (direct attack damage vs. SE tick damage where SE tick is the big winner). Thus much ammo is saved on guns. You would think forces could take advantage of the same thing, but in general they spend a lot more to get a status effect to stick.

This is why I tend to use lower rank weapons instead of higher rank ones.

I noticed a while back that using grinded weapons pays off alot more than using the highest rank weapons, even though they aren't quite as strong all the time. Only time I really update is if I am lacking in ATA department.

CyarVictor
Mar 9, 2007, 01:27 PM
Very true Rizen. usually i turn to 6* weapons that are grinded and/or have high % on them like my 44% lightning graters or my 50% fire knife(Does 300-400dmg still on ice). I also turn to lower rank weapons, espeically 2* to level PA's.

Akaimizu
Mar 9, 2007, 01:29 PM
The only A weapons I have are ones that are either A only, or would be too high a risk to grind Bs into. So for me, that means the Crossbows (since they start at A) and the Evil Twins, since they are the first A rank guns that require a good amount of weapon grinds of the Railgun to match.

And I miraculously actually found Evil Twins for 130,000 and bought them up. I've never seen them that low before. The average I've seen (other than that) was around 3,500 off the List price. Though plenty still charge a rediculous 200K for them. A 35,000 savings is huge, for those things. That practically makes up for the Tengohg Bow I failed to synth. (T.Bows aren't that expensive now, nor very useful. But they make good secondaries with their high PP.)

7 A rank melee weps. 2 A rank guns. If i actually run out in a mission the numbers arent pretty.

It's pretty cheap cause 4 of my weapons are +10 B rank(alteric, wandoc, w'gacrosx2), so only 2 A rank weapons to charge.
