Ditching mah double saber?

Well, on my alt who is a Fighgunner, I find myself RARELY using a double saber. I don't really know why, but it's just, well, nothing special!

I find myself using my Shintsuki-zashis much much more, and in fact, I have a 9* one sitting 'till he can use it.

Basically, are double sabers really worth it? O.o

If anything Doubles are good to have for sub bosses/bosses etc. They're are plenty of other weapons out that work just as well,if not better on mobs. The PA's or Doubles vary in situation if you ask me. Now that I'm easing off the use of my doubles I find they tend to be a bit overrated.

You may as well keep them,they is no denying the usefulness. Keep them for a rainy day?

Get tornado dance and use it on bosses.

I originally chose figunner for the guns, Double saber really surprised me how useful it was. I say keep it.

Keep it as long as your not one of the people who have all 60 of the items you can hold doublesabers( I mean come on two max http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif). Hey this is kinda depressing that Fighgunners are doing everything to be accepted now http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif. Keep the Double Saber. When soloing, if you can work up the PA frags for Tornado Dance, it's extremely useful to have. (Mind you, don't use it in groups-it'll annoy the shit out of your teammates)

Remember, your twin daggers are just one of six weapons you can use at once.

Well, everybody's post seems interesting... but really, the reason I'm considering ditching it is cuz I just don't use it! I mean, I have Spiral Dance at lv13, but it's just more interesting to use other weapons!

Oh, and I'm not gonna get Tornado Dance--or at least not any time soon.

Here's my list on what I'm working towards:
Nosudiga-20 more
Hishou Jinsen zan-75
Ult Kikami Art-60

That's gonna take a while to get all those... plus the 99 you need for Tornado Dance. So Tornado Dance is outta the question.

Edit: Don Royale, just saying, I only have 1 twin dagger with me.

I say keep it...as long as you use it when it helps the party and you the most...the double saber is really good for groups of smaller creatures or larger creatures with multiple hit locations. I don't like using them just because we can however in those situations I think its worth it to have them...i do love my mech gun dagger combo, twin pistols and twin daggers as well its all preference

Don't listen to there morons telling you to use it. If you don't have fun using it then there's no point in keeping it. It's not like you can't get by using your other weapons.

You should have tried getting Spiral to 21 before ditching the double sabers - it's a taste of Tornado Dance and was kinda addicting <_<;

But eh, there are plenty of weapons that do what double saber PAs do (well, other than the flying torpedo thing) so it's just what you wanna use. Flexibility = power.

But duuuddeeeeee get hishou jinrenzan, it's so much fun.

The double saber is either way overrated or way underrated by ppl on these forums. The double saber, even with tornado dance, is not some godly killing machine as some ppl make it out to be. Also, there is absolutely no reason to change to fighgunner just to use them. However, in no way is it the useless Q-tip others make it out to be. Its a solid weapon that, though not my favorite, is good enough to keep a spot in my palette. But thats just my opinion. If u dont like it, ditch it.
