View Full Version : Do you think a PA-Lving booth is needed?

Like the title says, do we need it?

By booth i mean like a Mission where there's like totem poles that you can attack and get your PA-Lvs up. [If the poles have like 60000 HP or so before crumbling]

And mabye an admission cost, of say, 7500-15000 meseta?

[mabye higher for PS2/PC?]

they have them in other games... and often are broke simply because people spend all day there and have a macro program that does it all day which causes lag on the entire area...there is no danger of that here though so sure ^.^

well there are controllers with a rapidfire option, that could easily level a bullet/TECH PA.

problem with rapid fire buttons and macro programs: you'll eventually run out of pp, and quite quickly actually. unless the rapid fire/macro factors in switching weapons...you'd still only make a good 10 minutes out of it...so thats kind of pointless.

Rare candy anyone?

Well unless the place automatically kept up your pp then I dont think it'd be worth it. Because you could take that 7k+ and invest in photon charges, then run missions and earn exp, pa leveling, money and mission points at the same time.

Is there anyone left who levels their PAs the old-fashioned way: using them normally in missions?

So true. Why complain about this, when there's buff circles at Photon Cubes.

Buff circles are stupid too.

PAs will level as I use them, I'm not gonna waste time trying to rush them up to some optimum level, especially since hardly anyone will care or even notice.

Meh, I am leveling crossbow on Go Vahra Kings... but that is mainly so I have a three way shot in parties before I get to them.

Also I can just turn on a turbo controller, and let my character spam, with the natural PP regen, all the while I sleep...

Cheating? Some may say, but it is retard that I have to have a bullet at 21+ to get the full effect to begin with.

Raysa

Well, if you think about it. If you equally level all your PA's you can end up with all at 30 by lvl 80.

yea we already have this option. its called a turbo controller. in fact, i have my force leveling megido as i type this http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

I level old fashion way by spamming my Pa in some mission then sit there and regain the lovly PP and then do it again takes a nice 3 hours to finsih a run cuz i dont wanta waste the money or photon charges >< *its a pain in the A$$ to level up the sword Pas for me ><*

Well, Sleeping Warriors works great on certain spawns, doing just the first bit, I was getting 20% towards Damegid 11.

For bullets, theres a trick involving govahras, and for melee, just spam it on everything you see.

I can take the 'No' people, but I'm still wondering who put the vote for 'I don't care, I don't use PAs'

If you put a silly option, expect someone to vote for it.

Hmm.. it would be nice to be able to exchange PA frags for levels in PA's. (like, 5-10 frags per level?)

They should have a mission where the Enemy attacks every 5 minutes with one attack. It's either 1 hit kill or block.

Yah, cuz like, that wouldnt totally break the game or anything. Nah of course not, You could have a buncha lvl 1's spamming lvl 20 attacks they shouldnt know, completely breaking the system of play.

Hell, why dont we just skip the middle man and instead of people having to stand in front of one of these monoliths shooting at it, they can all just have lvl 30 skills, bullets, and techs from the get-go.

Thats some new kinda genius in game design ya got there.

That's ridiculous. You grab a bunch of people and sit around a PP cube. They can't do anything about that, lest they get rid of PP Cubes.

Here's a better idea.
When tomorrow comes, I'll take 5 other people with me
on a PA-grinding fest. It'd be hardcore grinding, so
hopefully no one gets distracted. If anyone's interested,
shoot me a PM.

They certainly can do something. I read on psupedia ST has made it so you have to wait for the buff to wear off before you can get credit for buffing again. But now i can't find that info anymore. So I'm wondering which servers it was on or if it did in fact happen. Has anyone tried a buff circle since the update? If not I'll go try and let you kow what happens.
