Do madoogs use different skillz or do they still use techniques?

I don't think anyone knows for sure yet. But from the screenshot I'd assume that they just use technics (I recall it using barta or something).

But we can always hope! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

Word is that they're a left-handed technic casting weapon. As far as I'm concerned, this is exactly what is needed for those of us interested in playing, say, Wartechers.

TECHNICs only. From the weapon's description, they are listed as left-handed TECHNIC casting weapons.

Fortechers would have reason to use them too, as a pair to wands.

Wands are still useful for moving and shooting with offhand weapon, and for spamming out Foie to try to land burn 4.

Could be a good compliment for a wand. I see it of better use to a WT though useing a dagger.

They have superior HP. They have decent def. A left handed casting weapon will allow them to Debuff/Heal while dealing damage on the fly with no weapon switch lag.

I'd say equally useful to a WT and FT considering it will most likely cast faster then a rod, FTs that wanna do faster spells with a li'l less kick would be interested in equipping a wand and madoog, also GTs would like it if they get slicers and they end up working like guns and having bullet PAs

if it is left handed I wonder if you could also use a right handed wand therefore using 2 technics at the same time? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

I don't think you'd be able 2 cast 2 techs simultaneously as you most likely have to hold the bumper button (360 ver.) in order to alternate. My question is.. How many techs do you think you will be able to link to it?

I'm going to say one, but 2 is also realistic...

Still: Dizas + Melee = win

i hope its for forces only otherwise it is SEGA's way of saying there is no need to be a force in the game besides healing everyone and buffing them as well

The only reason I can see to bring it into the game is to balance wartechers. I can't see any other job getting any use for it, unless new jobs are made.

Fortetechers could still use a good reason to use melee from time to time http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

i think so, b/c melee and ranged hav one.

Universal Melee: Saber
Universal Ranged: Pistol
(in theory) Universal TECH: Madoog

it would make sense to me

Don't they have lv1 skills? I wouldn't want to melee with their stats.

Yeah, but if they have nowhere else to go, or if they feel like it... I don't know XD

Ok, but "pso jobs" will be making better use of them...a friend of mine has a friend on the inside with inside tips.

Of course I can't spoil what they will be releasing...

^-^

Yeah, well my friend has an uncle that has a cousin who's brother knows a GM who stole SEGA's plans, and he says that they're adding a new area in the expansion.

my guess is it'll be used by all force classes, and it'll be able to have two techs, like the second "page" of the rod. I think it'd be awesome of slicer was also a right hand ranged weapon. It'll definitely be one handed, and it seems like more of a right hand weapon as it was in PSO and ranged as well. This would make the Madoog good for guntechers as well giving slicer in right hand and madoog in left. Basically it could be useful for any tech class.

Yo that's awesome! My Aunt works for SEGA! She won't tell me what's gonna happen in the sequel.
