Whoever looks the best will win the prize...of course this is opinion based so someone may say someone looks better than someone else but i strive for that to happen as little as possible

Well, there WAS that last fashion show, where a LOT of people dressed nicely, but got bad scores.
Even someone who wasn't serious about the fashion show, got a higher rating than MANY.

Then you can do like... maybe 1 theme... and an overall look. And one for class portrayal? (like with their weapons). Too many more than that and you just need too many prizes.

You know, this wouldn't be an entirely bad idea though. But it might be more interesting to put a spin on it. I mean, anybody can just take a picture of their character. But there should really be requirements to it, or a theme to it. Either that, or photoshopping involved. You know? There has to be something that sets it apart from just coming to the event in an outfit.

And PST is 3 hours lower than EST.

oh and as far as time... i forget the names of each time zone as i get the mixed up, but if you are on the west coast it's -2hours, if you are between the east and west coast it's -1 hour, if you live in europe it +3-5 hours.

or according to my world clock...

east cast (ie east of denver) = -2 hours
middle (ie west of chicago east of denver) = -1
east coast (ie those to the east of chicago) = EST
Britain = +5
everyone cept great bitain = +6 hours

Okay this is what's gonna happen tentatively scheduled to start at 5PM EST...
1st competition = Best male parts (meteoric metal)
2nd competition = best female parts (meteoric metal)
3rd competition = best male clothing (meteoric metal)
4th competition = best female clothing (meteoric metal)
5th competition = best male (meteoric metal) [must win 1st or 3rd comp to participate]
6th competition = best female (meteoric metal)
[must win 2nd or 4th to participate]
7th competition = Best overall ([B] Del Jagnus) [must win 5th or 6th to participate]

8th competition = The race to change. I will be at the end/beginning. All groups will take off at the same time and go to change. One of the judges will keep at the entrance to hive to moniter the group that goes in and check to see that they actually do the run by looking at the teams list. Each team will also check in with the 2nd judge at the midway point and they have to have all members with them...and make sure they go through. The first one back and talks to me and i confirm the entire team wins.

with this race to make it fair and so that it doesn't take too long every group must go through A/B/C (S and S2 would prolly take too long) and depending on what lvls are in each party may be required to take easier or harder...for example 1person that is lvl 60+ may not be in a team with 5 lvl 5s and do C rank... that team must either get rid of the 60 or do an A rank mission...this'll be fleshed out later.

btw... i need a judge for the center area, between the first part of hive and the second part for the race... so any judge that wants to sit there and make sure everyone is playing fair?

members 1-20 = C rank
members 20-40 = B rank
members 40-60 = A rank
members 60-80 = S rank

second mission will be the same cept members 40-80 may all do A rank due to time constraints.

if you have any member past the lvl restrictions you must go into the hardest area your party can... so if there is a lvl 80 with 5 lvl 10s they must go in B

Well it's not very worrisome as anyone can run through and get there and then have a second char stand by at the entrance...my only concern is the middle area for the race ^.^

Well, time to put my impressions of people~ (I was one of the judges btw) Keep in mind these are my opinions, I don't mean to hurt anyone or say I in anyway dislike someone for not mentioning them. Its also in no way representative of the other judge's opinions.

Male Casts - The problem with male casts is too many people make them very similarly. Most casts are all about the same height, they tend to pull from the same group of colors, they all kinda look... like casts. The only two that really stood out from the group (to me) were Omega and Einhart. And when it came down to it, Einhart's outfit just flowed well. The ice line added a nice contrast aswell.

Female Casts (Caseals) - What, only 2 contestants? XD Well, I think Renha just had this hands down. Her outfit was really a bit dark for my tastes. But it was cute. I don't like when colors are too dark and tend to blend together.

Fleshy Males - The problem with male fleshies, for me, is that they really just aren't appealing. So you have to kind of work with being original and different while still looking good. With that being said, I think Siertes and Blanky really stood out. I actually preferred Siertes, but Blanky's outfit was overall coordinated better.

Everybody has worn, or knows somebody tha thas worn that outfit, because its the outfit you start with. With that said, there like 4 contestants in all starter clothes. Mixing starter clothes in works, but not entirely in it. With that said, Ami was adorable, and the maid hat worked really well for it. But at the end of the day, it was still starter clothes. A few did stand out though. I really like Leonoxe's outfit. But the hat didn't tie it together like Blanky's outfit. Something about it just didn't flow to me. Meryl was also cute. But you could tell her armor was just the armor she normally wears, and it was still just flaxo on flaxo. Some of the other judges digged Pikachu aswell.

Ok so the group i was in for the race part, well two or three ppl had to go afk, and so only 3 ppl one Lvl 45 (me), a lvl 43 and a lvl 58 doing Hive 1 and 2 on A RANK, which is already damm hard, we get the maps with DOZENS upon DOZENS of Gaozorans and like **three waves** of those tall hopping guys every other room...

Well we get throw all that going as quick as we can, then we all finnally get to the viewing plaza lobby and everyone's gone. That was frakked up. Where did everyone go???

When we saw you it was already unanimous that you won, overall just a great look. Pikachu was my 2nd choice for having a unique theme and doing it very well.

for the male clothing, it was close between Siertes and Blanky. Siertes' had the nice effect of getting lighter at the top, the only problem was some minor clashing with the shoes. Blanky's outfit just flowed together, everypart seemed to tie in including the hat and even facial hair.

Theres a few problems with this, there can't be a lot of uniqueness or nitpicking on the clothing. Let's look at the selection of things to wear that can give a unique look. Most of the outfits out there state-side on psu don't have a huge amount of originality. Lots of great looks and anything that is stand out immediately becomes a new trend to what is being worn now. I have a ton of different clothes and still feel I can't wear any of them because they have so been DONE by others.

If this and future fashion contests are to be critiqued like this, then its all gonna be a disappointment. Now obviously it can't be made easy, but the varied wardrobe isn't gonna change for a while, and the use of some of the beginner's clothes has its perks and flaws. Until ST brings in the updates with the new clothes, nothing is really gonna change.

What I really want with sega to do is remove the limited preset colors on clothes. Try and give us the option to color customize the cloths/shoes we buy using the same menu you use to customize the color of your eyes or hair. That would be a great step forward in making fashion a bit more unique on psu.

I never said that the clothing selection wasn't small. But that doesn't mean you can't be varied with it. Theres also plenty of things you CAN change, that can strongly effect the outfit, that people don't use.

Everything on the face has quite an effect. From Hair color to Eye color to the orientation of the eyes. We had like two girls that were remotely darker , and no black girls at all. Skin color can make some outfits look extremely different. Theres also tons of hats and hairstyles that can help coordinate things. Hell, even the beast tattoo can be used as a fashion statement.

Look at Siertes and Blanky. I think they stood out in my mind more. Or I expected a few more outfits like Leonoxes'. It wans't something we hadn't seen before, but the hat, hair style, ears, and colors all brought it together a lot better.

the top one has lighter hair that makes the line shield look alot closer to white because of the contrast like below

Now a here's the lines shields note the three that change this one the most are the blue, white, and green armours. The blue completements the costum, the white brings out the contrast. The green on this flip side changes with the costum though, it look more cyan on this one than say Ryukis, were it would look more yellow. the other colors don't have as much of an impact (execpt red which looks near white but I lost that armour).

Basically what happen was...chaos... and i really suck at orginization so yeah lots of chaos, but it eventually settled down a bit...some people who were contestants went AFK or couldn't figure out what was happening cuz people kept spamming...then on top of that people kept mailing me with "can i enter" when it should have been obvious v.v then for some odd reason, even noone ever calls me i had like 4 or 5 phone calls...which distracted me even more... and as for pictures people kept getting in the way so yeah it was hard to get photos and pay attention.

And everyone took off after the race mainly because Nailuj was taking a long time or were tired. i left after about an hour and a half after the race began. Raysa had to rebegin and it took them about an hour ^.^

the last 5 competitions have been postponed till at least next week...

DurrakkenX 2 ppl in Nailuj's party went afk part of the way into like the first A Rank Hive mission during the race,
so there was only 3 ppl to do rest of Hive 1 and pretty much all of Hive 2 A and just 3 to fight Dulk Fakis.

The maps we got were like the most difficult versions, they had *several* repeat waves of Gaozorans, and those Tall Leaping Guys (dont know their name) kept appearing many MANY times as well.

On A rank with one lvl 56, a 45 , and a 43 we went as quick we could. Since I can't really afford anything above making 6 star weps and few B grinders most of my weps are NOT grinded *yet*.

Overall the three ppl in the team had a very difficult time with the missions. We deserve something for the damm effort IMO.

IMO, You should of allowed B rank for Level 40 - Lvl 50-ish players. Seriously, HIVE 1 & 2 in A rank was nightmarish.

Not many good pics of me (I was Piro, the tall one in the black Gojgoj Vest with the dark line shield), aww.

I was a bit ambivalent about using both a top and bottom from the starter clothes, too, but it was the most character-appropriate stuff I could find--I was going for a roguier, bikier, butchier look with Piro, and those clothes were the closest I could find among what's been released. I leveled her up a bit before the event to equip some different line shields, bought a ground one, and cooked a dark one on my PM; the dark one seemed to match the other colours on the outfit better than the ground one, so I went with that.

Oh well, just my obligatory, self-indulgent look into what the hell I was thinking. Carry on!

Ignoring the style, you have an orange hat here, combined with orange highlights on the armor and eyes. Theres yellows and oranges from top to bottom. The line choice was also good. It went well with the colors already on her. Then she has a harsh face (thinner straighter eyes, thick eyelashes, dark lipstick) to go with the harsh looking outfit. And the choice of ears goes really well with the hat. I don't think as any race other than a beast it would have looked quite the same. It has nothing to do with the style of look, just the way it was put together. Whether everything was intentional or not. Blanky had the same sort of feel (with suprisingly the same colors).

Speaking of intentional or not, Siertes' outfit didn't seem entirely intentional, but it worked. If you look, he has dark blue on the bottom, going up to lighter blue ont he top, to blue glasses that looked even lighter from most angles, and white hair. It was kind of like a gradient going upwards. And this gradient had a nice effect at a medium distance. The White line was a perfect match for this aswell. I also don't think it would have looked as good with paler skin. I think black shoes would have made it work better. Perhaps either the black or dark blue flaxo shoes. The other judges (I think) hated the pants, but agreed that the color was right for the effect.

EDIT: And I want to emphasize that I only looked at so many things for outfits because if theres a univeraslly agreed upon set of outfits that look better, then everyone would wear that set of outfits. And then it would just become a popularity contest. Or the judge's taste in colors or a certain style would play into it more. If all the judges like green, then since everyone was wearing the same thing, the green one would win. You know what I mean?

yea, i'd say 3rd place, i saw you changing your line sheild, shows that you were thinking about that when making the outfit unlike a few contestants that just used they're usual fighting one. Pikachu's outfit was perfectly fine without any line, probably would've taken away from the look actually. There was also a male without a line but on his white shirt it just looked too plain.

This freeze frame pic of my character mid-emote is f*king awesome, it perfectly fits my post-modern
"gothic warrior" theme, it looks very close to how i actually look when i go to a gothic dance club (which is rarely nowadays)

I actually have gloves with buckles similar to those IRL, so overall that pic with the nice, lighting looks quite good and really fits the vibe and mood of my main avatar/character.

It's fair in the end. A male wasn't destined to look better than any female anyway. Did I word that right? I didn't think I deserved to win regardless,I'm greatful I got as far as I did anyhow. Candor can make better siggies than me, but then again, I don't know how
