Digging Rappy...

I was fortunate enough to get the same rare De Ragan spawn which contained 3 Rappy in the narrow hall, replacing the Koltova/Polty. The first time, Only one dug, but I was unsure if it dropped. The two I killed left a feather and meseta. The second spawn 2 dug, but the one I killed dropped nothing. I waited to see if they would come back, kind of like Lapucha, but I realized that the digging is somewhat similar to them running away. I want to know at what point they dig (as in how much of their HP they have remaining, etc.) and if they are truly escaping. I did not notice gaining experience from them, and I know there were no drops to my party.

Uh, I think that's just what they do when they die...

When you kill them, they go flat on their backs, thats when you get xp/items. Then they dig to run away after a bit.

Rappy are the equivilant of Rag Rappies in PSO, once you 'kill' them[you can't exactly kill a Rappy sence they run away] they faked death, aka, played dead.

However the Rag Rappy didn't drop it's item until it stoped playing dead, and you hit it.

The PSU Rappy doesn't stall in dropping, it plays dead for about 5 seconds then digs underground to escape.

Once you kill the rappy it digs underground. I would know i found 3 sets today which i was lucky enough to get a Giga/skill PP save on an S run.

they dig when they die, but dont be fooled: they also dig when they run away, so be sure to kill em fast.

thats why they hav so much HP, its a speed challenege, kill them fast enough and get high exp/meseta and rare dropz!
