PM's in Extra mode

Can you evolve PM's in Extra Mode? if so what item is best easy to get and effective so he can gain Strike stats faster?

I want to make him a GH201 (Blue Pete form) so he can turn into the GH301(blue dragon form).

And yes, you can evolve them, and if I recall they evolve much faster than they do online.
