Well, my xbox is giving me some problems now. It's giving me two red lights, meaning over heating. After waiting roughly 12 hours and trying again it promptly 'over heats' within 30 minutes.

So I may not be on for a bit...

Is the internal fan all dusty and clogged up?? You might wanna have it serviced. Sucks to have to send it back and be with out a box for a while...but at least theyll get it back in working order.

The best of luck to you with your 360 repair. I know the feeling of having a broken X360.

If you're in a hurry, you might want to check if it's the power supply that is acting up. When my fizzled out on me it turned out the power supply (which was the main culprit in initial 360 overheats) was shot. I went to a local EB and got a use one for $30.

I doubt that is the probem as I have already tried it on the power supply in my room, and the one my father uses to for his Xbox.

Mine just died not to long ago, so I gave it to a local shop to get repaired. (where they will probably just send it to Microsoft anyway...)
