Hm, formula for failure?

Well, at the time of the last System Message (before I realized that ST hadn't adjusted for the early DST), I had attempted to 'take part' in the White Day event by hunting for the much-lauded rare monster Jaggo Amure. During the course of the week I was able to put in 9 hours or so, and in 368 attempts I managed to find exactly 0 Jaggo Amure. While this may be 'spec' (Sony most likely would disagree), I personally see this as bad form. The point of an 'event' in this case seems to me to be to take part, which I clearly have not been able to do, since the missions are no different during the event, only the monster and its item. When an event of your design contains an item, of which the odds of finding it were made long enough that casual gamers cannot obtain it, you are, IMO, an asshole.

Grats, BTW, to those that did manage to get them.

Flirting is one of my favorite passtimes, offline or on. Since I will now not be able to offer the ladies a material token of my affection, I will have to step up my game and hope that my personality will be enough. Thanks for the help, ST. -_-;;

[Edit] It was pointed out to me that there were plenty of items in PSO with much longer odds than 1/368. True, point taken, but those items were not available for a limited time. Still none-too-pleased with ST right now. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

This part made me "lol" but yeah i feel ya pain man... For WD lovers a room deco, those odds are kinda outlandish. I could totally understand if it was for some uber unit/weapon/mat.
