Wear Green on St. Patrick's Day!

Just saw this and figured I would share!

"We recommend that all Guardians wear green on Saturday. Why? Well who knows? Tradition states that those who wear green on St. Patty's Day definitely run less of a risk of getting pinched. Other than that, there is a chance that some good fortune may be in store for those who do dress in green on the 17th.

Off-topic: My Gamerscore is pretty low compared to most I've seen.

On-topic: I definitely have a green ensemble, though outside of Tynselle's unique face, skin color, and choice of hair dressing; people might not recognize her. The outfit is basically for the holiday. I can see parts of it quickly going to Mufonna. (Ok. Her guns will probably give her away, the most. But that's on the field).

What are you guy's thoughts as to why we should wear Green?

My theory

1. GM will give some sort of non NPC rare to players (copernia, etc. XD)
2. GM will go around gimping non green players.

Some other theories that people have told me was that it would add luck to your drop rates, but that seems unlikely.

any other ideas? Guess we'll have to wait and see XD

I went out and dyed my hair green, bought all green clothes and everything thinking i'd either get 3* luck or something special in my storage box... Or maybe even a special Green mission :'(

The GM's were giving away Rappy Feathers and Love Letters to people dressed in all green. The Valentine Day photon op the GM never gave out gifts.

So the unannoced "find" the GM Leperchauns and get a gift (if your wearing all green) was a bit more that just a picture taking... IMO it was kind of fun.
