Level 55+'s view level 54-'s as n00bs. They hate n00bs, and therefore feel like they shouldn't give out 20k because they don't deserve it.

Oooor if there was no level floor, people could return later and get more out of you? At least level 55 isn't something you can do in a day.

I believe the prize pool was 900k, Merculine x1 and Hapotite x1. I'd have to ask Iceman though, I don't remember exactly.

I thought it went rather well for the amount of time we spent planning it. Ruby got us all together on Xfire 30 minutes before hand and we planned the whole thing out. The prize was random stuff Iceman grabbed real quick. XD

It was a player-run event, hosted by jeM. The GM's did drop by at the awards ceremony to say hello, though it should be stated that their event and ours were notably seperate.

The first place winners all got 1 million meseta and 10-11 star elements or metals. All contestants that attended were given at least 50k and we tossed out a ton of other free room decor, rare boards, and more after the awards ceremony. Hope you guys enjoyed it!
