I really don't think this game is lacking content. There's still plenty to do, so I take my time with it. Relax and enjoy what ya got. Could be worse you COULD be over sea's fighting in a war and not playing anything <.<;

It will open as we get the second seed attack, the ice one. We first need to have the fire seed attack, if we follow the jp trend.... (which means we'll also get events).

It's one of the best lobbies. A great view, a cave with fire and lots of benchs, crumbled walls to sit on, and snow to hide in or write on. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif I want to see Absolute Zero except I will need fire weapons. I only have ice, ground, and lightning with one dark.

Hmm. We're all going to have to go there, someday. I've been there, and it's really nice.

OOC: I even appreciate the nice little campfire setup, they have there. It almost has a native-american vibe to it. I should get working on making a Native American double-pentatonitc-scale flute, and play it there. (Yes, I do craft woodwinds)

The lobby sounds cool, we should have a mission with snowfall.

This game isn't lacking content, its lacking any real incentive to use fire enemies, because fire enemies are pretty much all over Gurhal, while whereever there are ice enemies, there are fire enemies that pose an even greater threat than the ice monsters, like Vandas and Worms.

You do have a bit of a point. But I really think it's more like the idea that you should keep both Ice and Fire on you. I tend to see a bit more fire use particularly in Neudiaz, where it seems to have a broader collection of Ice enemies. But as you say, they are often accompanying fire ones. Where you do see some places where Ice is good against everybody on the map.

Then again, there's specialty places. Dark element was ok, but Holy Relics gave them a true place. I'm talking melee-only of course. For bullets, well that Burn SE-factor makes them a lot more utilitarian, in more cases, than melee.

Kind of makes you wonder, if we're going to see more single-element temples/ruins, in the future. Yeah, it might be a little cliche, but a lot of people enjoy those Temple of Fire, Temple of Ice, Holy Relics, Dark Temple, etc. kind of places. It'll be kind of a way to stretch out and see what you can really do with chosen elements.

I think the lack of content is sonic teams way of milking us for our money, instead of giving us the game we paid for.

Nah, this game isn't really lacking content, but I agree with everyones opinion on the lack of ice monsters. Maybe when those red gates DO open up, nothing BUT ice monsters will fight. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif like in the Neudaiz Agata Relics, where all the monsters were turned to dark element, The area behind the red gate will have all the monsters on Moatoob, but ice element. o_O

As for people not carrying around fire weapons... I still use fire anyways since it goes along with my chracter. Why do damage and have a weird funny colored weapon while you can do none at all but you super cool doing it? XD

Gee. I really have to trust both Geezergamers and Pso-world to show me how pure-minded I still am. I don't even know what those Two words mean, other than the literal sense used in cooking.

Still, maybe I'm getting used to a different environment too much. I consider MayLee to be quite clean-spoken, compared to some of the crowd I hang out with.

New at the circus. Watch as Tynselle deftly dodges Innuendos.

I wish there where most use for fire and other elements since ice is the most used. It's just a bit hard to find fire, even so a decent percentage(20 or higher). I can't wait to see a Bil De Vear that freezes with it's blender mode. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

Put one of those in, and you're going to see a lot of really scared Guntechers. (Well, at least from the ones you actually see) They aren't so bad now because our low DFP/HP normally ensures us that we fly away so badly, from the attack, we never take the full blunt of it. (Unless caught well inbetween two-three, but that's easier to avoid) Frozen, though, that could mean instant death from just one of them. That is, if the low MST doesn't mean we die from that part before the physical damage is done.

Still, I'm all for Ice Enemies, in the game. Even if they are Bill De Vears(I'll just stay well away from them. They jump, I run). I've worked up Ice, Dark, and Fire bullets, and would love to put Fire to even more use. Also a real good place to go crazy with Fire traps.

Every update there's another person that says the game is lacking content.

Learn how these types of games work. Learn how a business works.

The point of a business is to earn profit. How would Sega earn any money by not having anything new to keep us playing a perpetual online game?

Bringing up how PSO worked would be a moot point as it was the first online console "RPG" of sorts and that specific market for the most part didn't know any better at the time. At the time nobody complained about there only being four stages did they? I know I didn't.

There's a reason games like WoW or FFXI are among the most widely played online games, addictive nature aside. That reason being the slow release of new content.

So how is Sega doing anything wrong by emulating the formula that the above mentioned games follow. Sure they haven't done things perfectly from the start, but there is definately alot to do in this game. I have almost 1000 hours since October and I still have alot of catching up to do..
