What are all the mid-level players doing right now?

Level 52, and bored out of my fucking mind.

Don't know what it's like on PC, but over the last couple of days I can say without exaggeration that roughly three-quarters of all online 360 players were in either Bruce's or Lab S2. Most of the remaining people seem to be new characters, alts, or something else.

Naturally this makes it ridiculously hard to find a party for anything else productive. I've actually spent most of my time soloing Valley of Carnage looking for those stupid Jaggos, and even managed to gain a couple levels in the process. Only problem is, soloing is BORING. Don't ask about my partner card list. The whole line reads "Seabed Plant Base" all the way down.

Any suggestions on something to do here? Hell, maybe even a support group for the few that got left behind in the Great Lab Rush of 2007.

tha lab run is only annoying when its those partys who are punks who cant fight a few bees. (i even fight em on Sha`raun)

as much as i dispise it, the pay is too schewt, and 2 fragz is nice.

and its not timed like bruce, so i can take my merry little time.

Labs S2 is great for money and MP (if you're not job capped) and once you're lvl 55 and you've done a few Lab S2 missions you'll probably be hooked! The Mizura maps are terrible and a waste of time and PP. It doesn't take long to find 1 of the 3 layouts without them either. =p

Same thing as all mid-leveled characters do: grinding up to play with the big people, unhappy that they don't have a dedicated group anymore.

Sorry about that, fell asleep. The lack of formalities comes from my FFXI days, where it took an hour to LEAVE a party, so I used to just fake a disconnect by turning the computer off. Haven't dropped the habit since http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

I'm trying to plan some grand tour thing latey. I mean anyone can get their job levels capped thats to the Sealab 2021 mission(curse you you damn mission you stole my friends!) So instead we should be having fun doing every mission so people can stop saying this game is a giant grindfest.

All I know is on PC, my guy's level 45, the only alt I use is 35, and I'm having a hard time finding parties also. It seems like the only people who play on PC/PS2 anymore are super-high level and do nothing but lab runs. If anyone's willing to do any other runs, let me know sometime, we'll group up.

Being level 41 and typically a week or two behind the latest fad/update, I find myself soloing quite a bit. Of course, I suspect I'm only level 41 largely because when I do party with someone, it's usually a lowbie, so I end up doing C and B rank missions instead of A or S, when its available, and mostly C at that. When I get to do a B rank mission, it's like, "Holy crap, my Job XP meter might move, this time!"

As far as the mid-level thing goes Sekani, I feel your pain.

It's the nature of all online level-based games, not merely this one. Even WoW, which has way more land to explore and about a million more things to do, getting through the mid-levels to be with your high-level friends is a grind. It doesn't matter how much fun you have doing the missions, the nature of the beast remains the same, you must grind to get there.

In my 40's the Hive was not available yet. so I spent a lot of time doing Sleeping warriors B, Valley of Carnage C, and the mission after that on B.

In my 50's I switched over to Figunner, and did Hive runs to level 3 sets of handgun bullet arts. Then I want and did all the missions that you kinda need tin handguns to complete (demons above, etc), on B/A grade.

In my 60's I switched back over to Fortefighter, and have been tryring in Vain to make a dent in the black hole of mission points needed to get to Fortefighter 6

I'm a struggling level 35er and can't do any S ranks..trying to find a party who wont boot you is pretty damn hard for me so I solo which takes a long time time finish and it's BORING. Same here. I'd much rather do a Demons Above S than a Lab Recovery S2. Also, Friday I'll be doing the two new Party missions the whole time I'm on.

My friends have gone to the sealab as well and i venture there every once in a while but i like neudaiz better and i dont mind helping you level up and have someone to play with. oh and im on everyday so finding me wont be hard
