WOW! I love that mission http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif I was so freaked out thinking I wouldn't be able to survive or people wouldn't let me play with them http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif cuz I was only lvl 62 Fortetecher lvl 5 but I was given a chance (and I was carrying a LOT of scapes) and I got through my first mission with only 1 death at the end and out of my other missions I never died more than 3 times and I would just use my winnings to buy more scapes from the NPC or players. The mission points and exp are what makes this GOLD! Not to mention I got Goldania and other rares.

So for anyone afraid you wont be able to do this just bring enough scapes and give it a chance, you wont regret it!

And if for some reason you really Are having a hard time just remember to leave the party before your last scape is used so you wont screw up the teams S Rank.

Party of 5 Anyone? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

It's not a hard mission at all, especially for -techers and -gunners who can avoid Megid and stay out of the way of Jarba's Dambarta...those Hunters have it tough on this mission. /salutes the brave Hunters who lose their lives in battle.

Also, bees. Some times you have to restart for 10-15 minutes and it kinda voids the whole "speediness" of the mission.

Why would anyone be scared of a dozen lv 90 jarbas that all shoot megid and dambarta at u? lol jk jk, it is a very fun and easy mission. Just make sure u have scapes or therell be some sour faces...

I'm leveling reeeeeeeeeeal slowly. Level 28, booyaka.

The hilarious part is that I have a GH-441, which will be level 100 tomorrow. My priorities are mixed, methinks!

Fortefighters are the only ones who might have a little problem. Figunners can just whip out traps and Twin Handguns on the Jarba.

And bees are a joke if you have a Fortecher to Diga and Zoldeel them.

Ummm...about the beees.

Avoid them altogether. We (the party I was with last nite, and even when I was made party leader for awhile) would restart the mission over and over if need be until we got 1 of the 2 maps that didn't have bees the whole way through http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

That's right, NO BEES!!! If you get the bridge one at the begining, their will be bees, leave.

If you get one with 4 Badigra at the begining in a wide open space, and 2 more spawn after that, that's a good one. If you see bees after that, leave.

If you get one with a little path and 3 Badigra, move on past them and if you see bees leave. If you see Volfu your good.

Just do that and you'll have things much easier http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

and I know I probably didn't spell those names right, me thinks anyway

It's an ancient thread, and someone's going to bump it more than likely...but it's the same principle. Useful guide thar.

Oh, and about those bees. If you DO feel like taking them on you don't even need to Diga Them to death, although that does a nice job of it. I use DIga on the Volfu and Dam! They die quick. But the real key to destroying bees is Fire which anyone with Firebullets or Foie of course, can do. Once you burn them they die fast! I solo'd Dual Sentinel that way.

Heck, that's what I do for the Jarbas as well, I pull out my Bow with lvl4 bullets and after I catch them on fire they go quick. Even though they are fire based that is still the way to go. Easier to dodge Megid that way too.

Nosdiga > Mizura. I have horrible aim with Diga/Radiga on them ^_^; And my Gidiga radius is kinda short (only lv18, doh) but Nosdiga hunts those things down and nukes them good, woo.

However, I wouldn't want to do a bee map without at least crazynuker fortetecher with Zoldeel/Zoldial SE3, and mebbe a well-skilled gunner (like, has burn SE4... there aren't many who do -_-;) since your techers will probably be distracted doing something like, skilling up Noszonde 9_9.

Otherwise bees just end up being really expensive for the hunters for PP recharging. It's not just a matter of speedrunning; it costs a lot to go through 20 weapons and 10 charges every couple floors.

I enjoy Lab S2 a lot, and the last room is always a pit of mayhem with the trap carpetbombing. It's just hard to find people there who are dedicated to the jobs they're levelling, and aren't just levelling them to see a column of 10s.

o_O I Must be one of the few Fortetechers who saves leveling up for solo missions? Got my Noszonde to lvl 24 on my own then it progressed a little in battle when I needed it to chase down the occasional enemy who was near death and decided to run away http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif IE: Cancer Pigs/Wormies/Sendillian http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif You can run but your Gonna Die!

Yeah, and the Fire Bullets too, did solo levels mercilessly to get to SE4 but it was worth it http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

SE4 isn't necessary for bees; 3 sticks just fine. I whip out the Yak Megiga-bound-crossbows (Infection) and go to town on them.

Hunters should also make it a point to try to use Knuckles on bees, due to high inherrant accuracy on the weapons themselves (And I believe Robado, the ultimate PA, has 87% accuracy or something like that). Even just using the normal attack pattern helps a lot.. all those hundreds of damage really add up.

i felt SOOO STUPID when i woke up at 2:50 AM the morning it came out, started up the mission and because i was the first one to do it i was solo, and i thought, 69k for a badira is pretty good, but its gonna take way too long!

so basically i killed 1 badira and then went back to my C runz, then my friend asked me if i wanted to do the missiona nd i hesitated for about 10 min. i finally said ok

that day i made 1 mil meseta and i was the second to lvl 71 and got to lvl 73

Oh yes, Distova are no sweat now t(`-`t

Yeah, I usually solo my skills until they're at the "useful" stage... had Burning Shot lv21 at GT1/fG1... then let them level up in parties on their own. Nosdiga levels up stupidly fast post-21 anyway; I hit 21 then went to Lab, and walked out with lv24 <_<;

I don't like gimping speed parties by skilling up - well, melee PAs I try to have at 11 at least before partying, not that that takes long at all. Having my nukes at acceptable levels means I can do all the shyte I'm supposed to do like buff/debuff/heal and still nuke hard when I am free to.

Just my mentality *shrug* Got a little tired of fTs there who never buff, never debuff, and never healed, but not really possible to be picky as long as they have scapes. I've done Lab S2 with a party of nothing but Fighs and Fortefighters and we did fine http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

That reminds me Jey, I need to level my debuffs now. They are still 1 or 2, that is is http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif But my Buffs are lvl 14-15 each which is good, I should lvl those as well, to 21. My main focus when I fight is Buffing and Healing although in a good enough party I don't have to heal much cept for myself.

Debuffs are so nice, especially since monster stats ramp up so much at higher levels.

Oh well, story of one fT I partied with there while on Jelouise, started saying "I'm going to support, ok?"... Took a look at her PA list... out of all her buffs/debuffs, only Shifta was over 10... I pretty much told her "Like hell you are".

But yeaaaah really it's fun, as long as you don't go with twerps like Wuming and Q->Xixi or YVS who refuse to carry scapes (PC/PS2 server) and suspiciously don't talk at all... giving me the FFXI RMT heebies, bleh. Most people are pretty chill.

Yeah, that's something that always pisses me off. I'll be in a group with another Ft who has buffs lower than mine and they will Buff after I Buff and their circle is smaller than mine so obviously their buffs are lower so I try to let them buff first and I follow after with mine to "correct" their mistake but still let them level their buffs and the next thing I know they try to Buff again after mine and I'm all o_O "You Retard!" So at that point I either start tellin em like it is or just Buff myself. Once in awhile someone else will "Tell it like it is" for me which is nice but usually people aren't too bright I'm afraid http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif so yeah...people need to spread the Word! The Bigger the Circle, the Better the Buff!

This made me LOL. I haven't seen those people, and I'm sure I'd laugh if they were in a mission with me and ate enough deaths to lower the party's rank to a C. That's screenshot worthy material, right there. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

My god, what's his PROBLEM?!
Q->Xixi joined several games I was in 3 seperate times on different days think'n he'd wise up. And he costed me my S ranks! Even lowered it down to a C on the first few days S2 was released!

I came to the conclusion that ppl like that jump on rooms with rares on random, takes em, dies, no one revives him, and leaves.
Aurgh!! He took 2 or 3 rares set on random from our group before lowering our ranks to a C that game!
We kept badgering him about his scapes situation for the last time (I wasn't leader to boot him) and states he's broke to buy em. BS.
He prays on ppl's freebie scapes (which he gets sometimes), and I've seen his over priced shop. He's got stuff to sell for scapes...
Now I wish I would of remembered to add him to my blacklist. But they have to be in your party one last time to add them, right?

And I believe he was a fighter type. A FIGHTER with no scapes!? Be warned...

I can't speak for the other 2 tho.

*end rant*

No and no. How are you people dying all the time; In the level itself or fighting Fakis? I think running Seabed over and over has ruined your ability to create a strategy. And it doesn't take "forever". Again, with the right team and a good strategy, you can have it done in half an hour.

I Love Seabed even More now http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif I did like 25 runs today (that's 50 PA frags) plus I ended up with like 300K Meseta overall (spent money on scapes) and I'm now Fortetecher lvl 8 from lvl 5 and Lvl 64 almost 65 and was 62 just the other day. Now I use Cards as well and I Love Them http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif Plus I threw a couple items in my PM that only had 50% and they both were a success http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

What a Wonderful Day in PSU *Sigh*
