I wish i could look for others around my level, on all universes, in every planet, with similar goals for a particular night. i know you can just join games, and i know parties gather around zone entrances, but still, i'd rather be able to see who's not in a mission and in a LFG status everywhere...AT LEAST in a particular universe.

Am I correct in assuming you want something similar to Halo 2's Matchmaking service (not paying homages to that game), just not as random?

If you haven't played on Halo 2 LIVE, it's basically where players who want to play a specific gametype select that gametype and they're matched up with others who want to do the same. There are filters for skill level, ping rate, geographical location, etc.
