Is this possible?

I was just about to reactivate my account, but then a thought struck me.

Now, I'm probably one of the only people who've never had a PS2 (through choice), but I'd be willing to splash out on one if this were possible.

How does the PS2 connect to the internet? Is it through an ethernet adapter/cable?

If so, would it be possible to be playing PSU on the PC, while a friend plays it on one of those slim PS2s (different account, obviously) together through the same connection?

It's a long shot but I did a similar thing with FFXI (god, that game was a grindfest) only replace the PS2 with a laptop.

yes u can play with to different accounts on the same server

A friend often brings over his PS2 and we connect both our consoles to the same router and play online with eachother from the same connection. A PC should be no different.

Hurrah! Thanks for the info everyone! I'm just rushing down now to grab a (hopefully) cheapo second hand slim PS2 and PSU.

Just for the update, I've bought 'em, and have started again with my friend.

My character is (imaginatively) called Saphion, and my friend is Bangle. We're only low level but give us a shout out if you see us. I'll probably be around Uni 2 like everyone else.

Just got dragged into the HIVE at level 4. Scary stuff.
