Luck icons

I don't get it, why can't I see my luck?

Back on St. Pats I could see my luck and everyone else's. Since then, nothing. I'm a newbie, and St. Pats was the first time I noticed the luck icons. Are we supposed to see our luck icons or what? Did I change some setting? I have a Beast M, Cast M, Human M, and none of them can see any luck icons right now. Any ideas?

I'm assuming my human has luck 3 today whether I see it or not. I hope so, I really need to grind some weps.

The luck icon only shows when you have character names/gameid displayed over the player's head.

I'm aware of that fact, and nothing. I walk up to a human male, check him out, I get to look at his stats, weapons, armor, PA's, but no luck icon. (PS2 btw)

No, no. What they mean is, you have to have it so the character's names are displayed over their heads in the field. For the Xbox 360 users, we click the left analog stick. It may be the same for you.
